My friend, how are you feeling today? I know you have come here for help. Let me show you that all the answers you seek are right here. In this practice, we will work with your breath to create a calm place for you to find the solutions that lie within you. This recording includes beautiful songbirds from my natural surroundings. Sweet friends, I know you appreciate these soft melodies and understand the unpredictable nature of birds, so please forgive our friend for popping by 5 minutes in.

Hello my friend,

It is so nice to be with you once again.

How are you feeling?

How are you really feeling?

You have a question or a need that you seek an answer to.

Let's work with this today.

Maybe grab yourself a journal,

Something that you can take notes with after we're done with our meditation.

Help you reflect,

Maybe find that answer that you're searching for.

Let's find ourselves a comfortable seat.

Or if you're standing,

Let go of what you may be holding.

If you're able,

Find yourself somewhere comfortable where you are not distracted.

We're going to work on a meditation today to find that answer that you're seeking.

Maybe a prayer you made to your higher source or a question you have for your inner guide or even your spirit animal.

Meditation is creating the silent space in which you can hear an answer to your prayer,

Your question,

Your need for guidance.

So as you are sitting here,

Begin to deepen your breath,

Settling in,

Working on letting go of any stories from earlier or things to do later.

Just finding yourself in this present moment,

Focus on your breath,

Focus on the sound of your breath,

Maybe noticing there are other sounds around you.

Just letting them become muted,

Soften,

Focus inside and let go of the outside distractors.

You bring your palms to face up.

This is allowing us to receive,

Whether that is a answer to a question or maybe just filling ourselves energetically.

With your inhales,

Imagining this opening up,

This receiving,

This drawing in and with your exhales,

Let go of any feelings,

Any thoughts or sensations that are not serving you.

Begin to notice,

Scanning your body from top to bottom,

If there's anywhere you feel resistance or tension,

Send your breath to that area and allow yourself to soften.

With your exhales,

More and more you are releasing any attachments,

Any stories you may have,

Any outcomes,

Any hopes that you may have.

Just let it all go and be open to receiving whatever comes in the silence that you are creating.

Keep breathing in this way,

Noticing thoughts come up and inviting them to wash away with your exhales.

You are the seer,

The witness,

The one who notices the thoughts coming and going.

You are not your thoughts.

You are just a witness.

You may begin to feel uncomfortable with the silence you're creating.

On your inhales,

Fill yourself up with love and openness.

Focus on your third eye center.

Allow that chakra,

That energy center to open up,

Helping you see what it is you need to see.

I will leave you in this velvet darkness for a few moments to breathe and remain open to seeing what it is you need to see.

As you are continuing to breathe,

Inhaling for openness,

Exhaling to let go of attachments,

Maybe you'd like to focus on a visualization as you're in this velvet darkness,

Waiting for an answer,

Waiting to find a solution.

Maybe a flashlight appears in your hand.

Maybe it's a candle or some other way to illuminate so that the answer can find you.

Let this search light remain inside you as a warm,

Comforting hue,

Your acceptance for whatever you may find.

Breathing,

Welcoming in answers,

Welcoming in knowledge,

Insight.

Let this light remain inside you as a warm,

Comforting hue,

Your acceptance for whatever you may find.

If your mind is wandering,

Come back to your breath and maybe find a mantra,

An affirmation or a prayer that can help you stay focused on your intention.

I am open to receive.

I am worthy.

I am ready.

You're welcome to stay here.

And then you're working on opening up and receiving.

If you're ready to move on and let go of the meditation,

Take one more inhale.

Inhale yourself up and let it go slowly.

Release that breath.

You may start to shift your fingers and toes,

Finding movement in your joints.

You may begin to flutter your eyes half open,

Becoming aware of your present space,

The environment around you.

This may be the time that you grab your journal and start writing whatever it was that came up during your meditation.

Maybe it was an idea.

Maybe it was just a word or a feeling.

Maybe it was a person,

A place where an animal came to mind.

Wherever you are,

Just take a moment to reflect.

And as you're ready to seal your practice and move on with your day,

Before you go,

Either bringing your hands to heart center or one hand on your heart and one hand on your belly,

Acknowledge the efforts that you made today,

The hard work that you did.

Thank yourself for doing this work.
