There is also some scanning of your body and the expansion of awareness, that when we slow down we actually open up and gain more information. ‘A soothing Journey on many levels’ as noted by one listener.

Hello,

Thank you for joining us today,

And also thank you for taking a few minutes for yourself just to re-center,

Re-calibrate,

Coming home,

Taking a pause and actually bringing in a recharge.

That's what today will be about.

So I invite you,

Wherever you are,

To get comfortable,

Allow yourself to relax.

And that may mean that you close your eyes,

And if you don't close them,

Allow them to be at a soft gaze,

Partially closed,

Generally not focusing the sight,

But just allowing to be.

And right now I just invite you to bring your awareness to your breath,

With the inhalation if possible through the nose,

And the exhalation out through the nose or the mouth,

Whatever is more comfortable.

And as you're bringing your awareness to that breath,

We're not looking to change anything.

Just to be right with it,

To observe,

And to just notice how this affects your physical body.

Perhaps you're noticing that the breath is flowing a bit,

That that air may feel cold coming in,

That you may feel an expansion of your belly or your ribs.

Just noticing,

And allow your muscles to relax a little bit more,

Whether it's around your cheekbones,

Your jawline,

Your neck,

That's supporting the head,

Allowing the shoulders just to relax a little bit more.

And if you felt that they were going forward,

I invite you to just roll the shoulders back and allow them to settle in,

But opening that sternum,

That chest plate,

And keeping with the breath.

And bringing your awareness now with the trunk of your body,

Almost like a scan,

Do you notice anything?

And just bringing that awareness down both the back and the front of the trunk of your body.

And bringing in the awareness of your hips,

Your sitz bones,

The top of your legs,

And bring the awareness to what is supporting you.

Maybe you feel the bench,

Or the chair,

Or the sofa,

Just supporting you.

And just give it a nod and keep that scan going over the top of your legs,

To your knees,

Down the shins and the calves,

Bringing your awareness into the ankles.

And if you feel that you're adjusting at all,

Just notice what parts of your body are connecting with what is supporting you.

Are your feet on the floor?

And as you get down to your feet with that scan,

Expand your awareness to energy from within you,

The energetic part of you,

Extending from your feet down,

Down into the earth,

Into Pachamama.

Just tracking and seeing in your mind's eye that energy expanding and connecting and really going deep into the earth,

The way that a tree's roots extend,

Expand,

Reach deep into the earth,

And allow that to be your energy too,

Really rooting in,

Bringing your awareness to your breath with a larger inhalation of that fresh,

The newness,

And that exhalation to really be deepening.

And as you are rooted into the earth and the inhalation is bringing in the new and the exhalation is releasing,

Allow it to be releasing even bigger.

Allow the release to really be that which no longer serves you,

That which is cluttering inside of you,

Bringing that newness in and giving yourself permission for that exhaling and releasing of the clutter,

Of the old,

And also noticing and you also releasing that you figuratively carry that have never been yours to carry.

So as you are here cycling with your breath,

Rooted very soundly into the earth,

I invite you to expand your awareness,

Encompassing a little bit more in whatever senses awaken for you.

Are you carrying things that are not yours to carry?

Bring your awareness to that and expand it a little bit and allow yourself to listen,

To feel.

You may have gotten a quick response and if that's the case,

You might take a little and say,

Why have I carried you?

And without any judging,

Without any stories,

Without any right,

Wrong,

Good,

Bad,

Just bring your awareness.

And if you are carrying something that has never been yours to carry,

Give yourself permission to really release it.

So right now as we're anchored into this earth,

We can imagine also we have our light being anchored into the earth and we are getting the sustenance,

The way the roots draw up the energy and get the sustenance from the earth.

So we are currently receiving that too.

But also,

If you would like to extend either figuratively or physically your hands outward,

It's almost like you have an open hug arms and from your hands and from your arms,

There are golden threaded cords that extend down into Mother Earth.

From Mother Earth,

Pachamama is also the receiver of everything energetically that we guard,

Luff off.

And if you have anything you want to relieve,

You may imagine them going down these cords down into Mother Earth.

For in the simplest terms,

When we release things,

The earth,

Mother Earth,

Pachamama will compost it.

We'll take it all,

We'll sift,

Sort,

Transmute,

And then provide us fertile soil again.

So if you have things to relieve,

Bring an intention forward,

Make it conscious and open up that heart,

Open up that compassion and release.

Can I bring your awareness to the energy body that has extended from your feet deep into the earth?

And in your mind's eye,

Just start tracking that down.

How many roots have you set in just these last few minutes?

How much energy are you drawing forth back into yourself in a centering,

Grounding,

Stabilizing way?

Just be aware.

And now I invite the connections from your hands,

From your arms,

To be brought back up from the earth,

Right back into you.

And I invite you to track down the energy body,

The light energy that you are back into the earth and start bringing that back up.

And as you bring it up,

Just notice how it feels,

And give yourself permission and allow yourself to really also feel gratitude,

For this has been a gift,

This is a gift,

And this recharging is in goodness.

So let us feel in gratitude and give a thank you to Mother Earth,

Pachamama.

And I invite you to continue to bring that back in and your awareness,

You now have brought your energy back up.

And from the feet,

I invite you to now visibly track it up through your ankles,

Your shins,

Your calves,

Your knees,

The both front and back,

Your upper legs,

The quads,

The thighs,

Into the hip,

The most joint,

And into your trunk,

And upward,

And into the rib cage,

And upward into the chest and down the arms,

And back up into the shoulders and the neck,

And up into the head,

The jawline,

The cheekbones,

The nasal cavities,

The forehead.

And allowing now at the top of the head,

That crown chakra,

Allowing that to open up in your energy to expand upward,

Upward,

Upward,

And allowing this divine energy,

This light to come in and flow openly down into your physical being,

And imagine it just circulating and filling every space,

Being aware of that breath,

That inhalation,

And the exhalation,

And the filling within your body,

Almost that juice,

That energy for your energy body,

Which in turn opens for your physical body.

Now I want to have you stand back up to your body from wherever you were,

And to bring that energy back in to your seventh chakra,

The crown,

And close it,

And bring your presence right into your being right here.

And I invite you to feel the comfort of exactly where you are,

Allowing this light smile to come across your face,

And just bringing in the awareness again of gratitude,

So in spite of everything else our lives hold,

We're in a perfect spot at this very moment.

And allow yourself these moments of pause,

These moments of breath,

These moments of shifting your lens,

Or the way your feet see things,

To be a little bit wider,

To notice all the things that we may not notice on a regular daily,

And just be in gratitude,

Thank you.

You can say that to yourself,

To your guides,

To your support,

Just thank you.

And that's for showing up for yourself,

And for knowing that you needed a little something,

And you wanted to explore.

So I invite you to bring your awareness back to your breath,

With the inhalation being of newness,

And that exhalation being a tool of releasing that which no longer serves you.

So when you're ready,

Take another two or three seconds of your breath,

Allow the smile to come forward on your face,

And when you're ready,

You can come forward as you begin.
