Hello.
Thank you for joining us today.
I invite you to just settle in.
Allow yourself just a moment where you can give yourself a nod for being here today,
For taking the time out of your busy life just to come right here for you.
I invite you to bring your awareness to your breath if it's comfortable with the inhalation in through the nose and the exhalation out through the nose or mouth.
Not looking to change anything,
But allowing yourself,
And with this awareness to settle into a natural rhythm of breath,
Really allowing yourself to be present right here,
Continuing tracking your breath,
Being with every inhalation and with each exhalation,
And noticing what's happening with your body as you've brought your attention to your breathing.
We're not looking to change anything,
But just bringing the awareness to the now.
And as you're settling in and bringing more parts of yourself right to your breath and your body,
I invite you to drop right in.
And that may feel like dropping right into your center,
That solar plexus,
That heart chakra,
Almost like you're landing home in you.
And as you continue your awareness with the breath,
Give yourself permission to drop in a little bit more deeper.
And just continue with your breath.
Let's do a little exploration today about our relationship with ourselves and how it can have an effect with the outer world.
And likewise,
How the outer world can have an effect on us.
So as we started this meditation today,
This journey,
You've probably already noticed a shift,
Bringing the awareness to the breath,
Brings your focus and your attention back to you.
Initially,
It brings it to the physical parts,
The expansion,
The contraction,
The pacing,
Where our body is moving with each breath.
Oftentimes,
Something that we don't even think about,
That keeps us alive,
That gives us life,
Without even an awareness.
And as we bring our awareness here,
To this present,
To this moment,
To our breath,
We feel the shift,
Where all of a sudden,
Everything from the day,
Our worries,
Our concerns,
The highs,
The low,
They've kind of drifted off to the side.
They may come in momentarily,
But they become a lot quieter.
So I want to ask you to,
As you're sitting here,
With your breath now,
A little bit more in your center,
I want to ask you to think about a time that you were so happy.
It doesn't matter when,
Could have been when you were a small child,
It could have been yesterday.
Just a moment that made you just feel magnificent.
And just allow that brief moment to just come in,
Almost as if it's coming right into your center where you are.
And allow your body just to hold that,
Not curate it,
Not judge it,
Just be with it.
Even if it was just a moment,
Now I invite you to allow a smile to come across your face,
Just to really embrace it,
Embody it,
And just feel it.
And thank you for that little exercise.
And now I'm going to invite you just to come back,
Release that.
But did you notice the shift that you had?
So we've gone from pausing our day to stepping in.
To tracking our breath and noticing a slight shift.
And noticing that what has been so important went to the sides and then brought in a moment of happiness,
Joy.
And hopefully you were also able just to feel that momentary shift,
That embodiment,
And how beautiful that is.
And so I invite you to just come back right into the center.
And know that exactly who you are and where you are is perfection.
And that you have incredible tools inside of you,
So that you can navigate and as you bring in yourself into your inner self,
You can expand and affect the outer world.
But you also don't have to allow the outer world to affect you.
So bring your awareness back to your breath.
And this time,
Allow yourself a large inhalation,
And even a slightly larger exhalation,
Just to really feel the movement.
And just be with your breath for another five or six cycles,
Just allowing your awareness to be right with you.
And as you continue your breath,
You're holding your consciousness and your awareness right in holding your consciousness and your awareness right in the present.
And when you're in the present,
You're letting go of creating in the past.
And as you continue to breathe right now in your center,
You're also not giving energy worrying about a future.
So breathe naturally.
Be right here.
And if you would like,
You can introduce a mantra.
A mantra.
I am whole.
I am here.
And allow your breath to be full,
Exactly what it is.
And allow your mind to sit for the next minute or so with this mantra.
I am whole.
I am here.
And now,
As we continue forward,
Being with your breath,
Being right in your center,
Allowing that smile just to come a little bit to your face.
And I invite you to drop the last word.
I am.
I am.
I am.
And just continue with your breath.
You can allow the mantra to float through or not,
You can allow the mantra to float through or not,
Whatever works for you.
But almost like an expansiveness within your center,
Almost as if you are a vessel expanding,
Getting bigger,
Opening more space for you in your center.
With that breath in,
I invite you to awaken,
To allowing a deeper awareness,
Coming in and settling in within your center,
Within your presence.
And also bring in that when you choose to be in your center and you drop into this deeper awareness,
It's almost as if the linear time is non-existence and you just are,
You're a being.
And the past has faded,
The future is not tugging,
You are present and you are able to be an observation.
There's no more right,
Wrong,
Up,
Down,
Projection.
You're in observation,
You're in present.
There's no judging.
I invite you to really acclimate yourself to your center,
To your awareness,
There's no judging.
I invite you to really play with this breath,
Play with this inhalation,
This beautiful exhalation,
Realizing the freedom,
The internal liberty that it is giving you,
That you actually create your moment and how you can be,
No matter what is going on in your outer world or relationships,
But just who you are and where you sit.
So as you are sitting here,
I invite you to really just feel the joy of being present with yourself,
With your breath,
With your active awareness right here,
Right in the center,
In the now.
In the now.
Invite in the expansion,
That figurative expansion which allows additional things within yourself to start to come up,
Maybe quietly,
Maybe wisdom,
Maybe healing,
Maybe something within you that's tried to get attention.
But now when you're home and you're centering you with your breath,
Just tap in to you and to this love.
Allow yourself to open up even more to gratitude,
To this moment,
To these minutes.
Allow a smile to come across your face.
You might even feel a bit of laughter.
Allow yourself to feel and be with this essence,
This energy,
How you are right now.
And I invite you to settle in for the next eight cycles of breath.
Being in your own presence,
Being in this pure love,
Bringing in the spaciousness,
And now I invite you just to wind up with the last two cycles of breath.
And then bring your awareness to your physical body,
Where you are this very moment.
Bring your awareness to what is supporting you.
Might be a chair,
A bench.
Bring your awareness to your arms,
What they're touching,
What they're resting on.
You're bringing your awareness right back into your body.
And before we leave today,
I just want you to remember that you have all the tools you need to pause,
To come into your own center,
To be with your full being right in the moment.
And one final thing,
I invite you right now to imagine the most beautiful thing in nature,
Whatever that would be.
Just allow it to come right up into your mind's eye.
Might be a flower,
Might be a waterfall,
Might be stardust.
Just be with it.
Get curious about it.
If that beauty were a feeling,
And you allowed it to come right into you,
What would that be like?
Breathe into it,
And release that breath.
And know that this is something that you can do,
No matter where you are,
Any moment,
Where you need a short break,
Just breathe into it,
And let it go.
Let it shift,
Just to bring yourself right home.
And so I invite you to bring your awareness back to your breath,
Allowing a little bit of movement to come in,
Perhaps to your fingers,
Your toes,
The awareness,
Maybe even moving your neck and shoulders.
And when you're ready,
Please feel free just to come forward with a day,
And just give yourself a nod,
A thank you for showing up for you,
And realizing you are whole,
You are here,
And you are just perfection in this moment.
Thanks,
And you have an absolutely great day.
