Welcome to your guided meditation.

My name is Megan Farrell and today I will be taking you through a meditation to help you feel a sense of peacefulness and contentment.

Go ahead and find a nice comfortable position making sure that your spine is nice and long and that nothing is obstructing your breathing.

And then go ahead and begin to do a body scan.

So scanning the body,

Noticing what feels really good in the body,

What feels loose and limber.

And then also noticing what parts of your body feel tension,

Maybe they feel a little tight and stressed.

And then go ahead and relax those areas,

Removing the tongue away from the roof of the mouth,

Allowing the hips and the pelvis to grow soft,

Allowing the shoulders to sink down.

And now let's focus on the breath.

So exhale all the air out of your belly and go ahead and take a deep breath in for 1,

2,

3,

4.

Exhale 4,

Inhale 1,

Exhale 4,

Keep going,

Breathing into the belly and ribs.

And as you exhale,

Allow all the air to go,

Relax and release.

Keep breathing.

And now imagine you are standing on a white sandy beach.

The sand is soft and powdery between your toes.

And you gaze out towards a turquoise blue ocean.

The sun is shining down on you,

The warmth of its rays kissing your skin.

You begin to walk towards the water,

Stepping into it until you're ankle deep.

The water is the perfect temperature as it gently caresses your feet.

So you wade out a little bit more until the water is at your waist.

You then lay back against the water floating.

You are buoyant in the water.

You can smell the saltiness of the ocean air and even taste it on your lips.

You feel completely safe,

Completely secure.

And just enjoy the time as you lay back,

Feeling the warmth of the ocean,

Of the sun as it caresses down on you.

You gently lay here,

Hearing the water laugh all around you,

Feeling the sunshine on your face and body.

And every thought begins to fade from your mind.

You are simply just here,

Present,

And nothing but this tranquility consumes your mind.

And you are just here,

Present,

And nothing but this tranquility consumes your mind.

You are simply here,

Present,

And nothing but this tranquility consumes your mind.

You are simply here,

Present,

And nothing but this tranquility consumes your mind.

You are simply here,

Present,

And nothing but this tranquility consumes your mind.

You are simply here,

Present,

And nothing but this tranquility consumes your mind.

You are simply here,

Present,

And nothing but this tranquility consumes your mind.

After some time here finding peace and contentment in your ocean paradise,

You begin to bring awareness back into your body.

You flutter open your eyelashes and gently stand back up and begin to wade yourself back to the beach.

As your toes touch the beach sand,

You turn back around for one more gaze at the ocean and smile,

Knowing at any time you can come back to this tranquil,

Peaceful ocean paradise anytime you need.

And just taking one more moment here for yourself and then deepening your breath,

Opening your eyelashes,

And continuing on with the rest of your day.

Thank you so much for joining me today for your guided meditation to feel peace.
