I'm Heidi,
And I'm glad you're here.
This morning,
We're turning your coffee ritual into some presence.
Presence to yourself,
And to the world around you.
That connection is what gives this day purpose and meaning.
This transforms today from something to get through,
Into something to truly live with presence.

Let's begin.
Settling in,
Hold your drink of choice.
Maybe it's a coffee,
A tea,
Some water,
Your juice,
Whatever it may be.
Hold it between your hands,
And closing your eyes.
Settling in,
Feel your body touching the seat,
Your feet solid on the ground,
Your body connected to earth.
Moving your awareness towards your hands.
Feel here,
Feel the warmth as it flows through your fingers,
To your hands,
Arms,
Through your chest,
Down into your hips,
Legs,
Feet,
And toes.
As you feel it back up,
Moving back towards your head,
You feel this warmth all around.
You are warm,
Compassionate,
And kind.
Take a breath,
And breathe that in,
Placing awareness on what you can smell.
Smell here.
Smell the flavors as they flow through your senses,
Filling your head into your body.
You are living,
Breathing,
And full of vitality.
Take a breath,
And breathe that in.
And when you're ready,
Take a sip,
Placing awareness on what you can taste,
And taste here.
Feel the texture as it flows through your mouth,
The back of your throat,
Into your chest.
You are full of joy,
Pleasure,
And richness.
Take a breath,
And breathe that in.
Moving your awareness to your ears,
Hear here.
Hear the sounds or vibrations around you.
You are purposeful,
Present,
And empowered.
Take a breath,
And breathe that in.
When you are ready,
Slowly open your eyes,
Placing awareness on what you can see.
See here.
See the colors and awe all around you.
You are connected to beauty,
Magic,
And wonder.
Take a breath,
And breathe that in.
All of life flowing through you.
Place an awareness on your heart center.
Name one thing you want to carry with you today.
Maybe it's compassion,
Grace,
Or presence.
Whatever wants to guide you.
You're present now to yourself,
Your body,
Your spirit,
And everything around you.
That connection is what lets you truly live this day,
And not just get through it.
Take a deep breath,
And wiggle your fingers and toes.
