Welcome.

In today's session,

Our goal is to help you make peace with unresolved trauma,

Allowing you to move forward with a sense of healing and calm.

Childhood trauma can have a lasting impact on our lives,

Creating negative thought patterns and behaviors that can hold us back from living our best lives.

Through this meditation,

We will work on releasing the emotional burden of these past experiences and creating new positive experiences.

Come into any grounding position that feels comfortable for you.

Close your eyes and take a deep breath in,

Then slowly exhale.

Visualize a calming wave of relaxation starting at the top of your head,

Then flowing down through your body.

As the wave passes over each part of you,

Imagine tension melting away,

Leaving you feeling deeply relaxed.

Focus first on your forehead,

Your eyes,

Cheeks,

And jaw.

Let this relaxation move down your neck,

Shoulders,

And arms.

Feel the tension flowing all the way down to your fingertips.

Feel this wave progress through your chest,

Stomach,

Hips,

Thighs,

Knees,

Calves,

And finally reaching your toes.

You are now in a deep state of tranquil relaxation.

Imagine standing at the top of a beautiful staircase with 10 steps.

Each step you take will guide you deeper into relaxation.

As I count down from 10 to 1,

Take a step with each number,

Allowing yourself to relax more deeply with every step.

10,

Take the first step down.

9,

Feeling more relaxed.

8,

Even deeper now.

7,

6,

Halfway down and very peaceful.

5,

4,

Deeper still.

3,

2,

Almost at the bottom.

1,

And now you are deeply relaxed.

At the bottom of the staircase,

There is a door.

Behind this door lies a significant event from your childhood,

Something that has impacted you greatly.

Yet today,

You are strong enough to revisit.

When you are ready,

Open the door and step inside.

Remember,

You are safe,

And I am here with you.

Let's do this together.

Let's journey back to a significant moment in your childhood where you feel unresolved trauma may be rooted.

Visualize yourself as the child you once were,

And the child you are today.

Trauma may be rooted.

Visualize yourself as the child you once were,

Immersed in the scenario unfolding before you.

Observe the emotions,

Sensations,

And thoughts that arise.

Remember,

You are strong and safe now,

And you have the power to reframe this memory.

First,

Allow a profound sense of compassion to surge within you,

Directed toward your younger self.

Send feelings of unconditional love,

Understanding,

And empathy.

Recognize that the child you were did the best that you could,

Did the best that you could,

With the knowledge and resources available at the time.

Allow this understanding to wash away any residual guilt,

Shame,

Or blame.

Next,

Acknowledge that this experience,

While impactful,

Does not define your entire experience.

It is merely a chapter in your story of your life,

Not the entire narrative.

Picture your younger self,

Bathed in a warm,

Golden light,

A healing energy that permeates and surrounds them.

This light represents tranquility,

And peace.

This light represents tranquility,

Safety,

And healing.

Visualize it absorbing the pain,

Transforming it into a sense of calm and peace.

Now,

Begin to reframe the memory with positive,

Empowering thoughts.

Imagine surrounding your younger self with supportive figures.

These could be loved ones,

Mentors,

Or even a future version of yourself.

Allow these figures to offer words of support,

Encouragement,

Validation,

And strength.

Let your younger self feel the support and warmth from this circle of allies.

Reinforce this healing process with these powerful affirmations.

Silently repeat each one,

Filling their time and energy.

Silently repeat each one,

Filling their truth,

Resonate within you.

I am safe.

I am healed.

I am strong.

I am loved.

I am worthy of happiness.

I am in control of my life.

I am resilient.

I am at peace with my past.

I am free from fear.

I am surrounded by love and positive energy.

Picture these affirmations as seeds planted in your subconscious mind,

Growing stronger with each repetition.

Embrace the newfound inner calm.

And let it resonate through your mind and body.

Feel the affirmations integrating into your being,

Helping you to build a foundation of self-love and acceptance.

Additionally,

Consider the lessons you have learned from this experience.

What strengths have emerged from your journey through trauma?

Acknowledge these strengths and let them become a source of empowerment.

Understand that every experience has contributed to the resilient,

Capable individual you are today.

And finally,

Once you feel ready,

Give yourself permission to fully let go of the past.

Imagine any remaining negative emotions dissolving into the golden light,

Being replaced by a sense of liberation and renewal.

Embrace the present moment with a sense of gratitude and optimism,

Knowing that you have the inner resources to move forward with confidence and peace.

And now,

You will start the process of returning to the present moment,

Bringing with you the feelings of peace and resolution.

Visualize the staircase once more and begin to ascend,

Feeling more alert and awake with each step.

I will count from 1 to 5,

And at 5,

You will be fully awake,

Feeling refreshed.

1.

Feeling more awake.

2.

Coming back to the present moment.

3.

More alert and aware.

4.

Almost back.

5.

Open your eyes.

Feeling awake,

Refreshed,

And at peace.

Thank you for meditating with me today.

Namaste.
