Welcome to Making Meditation Mainstream,

10-Minute Meditations.

My name is Jason.

The theme for today is non-attachment.

We spend our entire lives accumulating.

We spend our lives wanting things,

Needing things,

Acquiring things.

I invite you to be in a state of non-attachment,

Taking the opportunity to not need something,

To not allow yourself to be attached to anything.

To just be and to experience the freedom and peace and contentment that can come with not requiring anything but being just perfect as you are.

Being perfect in the moment and allowing yourself to just be in the moment with your breath.

Now get yourself settled as we will now begin the meditation sequence.

Take a moment now to just settle and relax.

Close your eyes.

Together let's take three breaths and on each exhale allow yourself to relax more and more and to feel heavier and heavier.

Exhale.

Bring yourself into the present moment.

Allow the past to be the past,

The future to be the future and you are safe in this moment right now.

Now place your attention to the top of your head.

Allow a deep sense of relaxation to cascade slowly down your face.

Feel your eyes become heavy.

Release your jaw.

Soften your mouth and allow your tongue to sit comfortably on the roof of your mouth.

Allow your shoulders to fall away from your neck.

Completely relax your arms.

Let go of your stomach and feel your legs and feet become completely at ease and relaxed.

Now place your focus and awareness upon your breath watching inhale and exhale of the breath.

Witnessing the rise and the fall of the chest and should you have any thoughts or distractions just acknowledge them.

Allow them to drift slowly away.

Finally return your attention back to the rise and the fall of the chest.

Now release your jaw.

Soften your mouth.

Allow a deep sense of relaxation to cascade slowly down your face.

Take a moment now to contemplate the theme for today.

Thank you for joining Making Meditation Man's Dream.

Have a great day.

It is very good. At the seven minute marker the complete silent meditation starts until the end. Sometimes I do yoga a few minutes before
