Welcome.

Welcome to this opportunity.

An opportunity to release the need to react.

By taking these few moments for yourself,

You are caring for yourself.

Find a quiet place for just these few minutes.

Acknowledge whatever pain or anxiety you are feeling while you reground yourself with your breath.

Move your attention gently onto the process of breathing.

Simply observing each breath as it happens.

Whether you focus on the rise and fall of your chest or on your abdomen.

Or perhaps you are recognizing the sensation of the breath as it moves in and out of your body.

Connect wherever it is most natural for you.

Are your breaths deep or shallow?

Long or short?

Allow yourself to feel what it is like to breathe without needing to alter your breath in any way.

If it is a short breath,

Allow it to be short.

If it is a long breath,

Allow it to be long.

There is nothing to judge,

Nothing to correct,

Nothing to do differently.

As you engage in this meditation,

You may find that your mind wanders.

The physical or emotional pain may make it difficult to remain calm in this moment.

When you notice this happening,

Know that it is okay.

It is okay.

I am with you.

Simply acknowledge your mind wandering and gently bring your focus back to your breath.

You may find that as you watch your breath,

It begins to change or it may stay at a steady pace.

Whatever your breath is doing,

Just be with it,

Be with it in this moment.

This is your moment,

Your moment of peace away from whatever is troubling you.

In this moment of peace,

Just acknowledge what it feels like to be breathing.

Again,

If your mind wanders,

It may do so many times.

Simply guide your attention back to the breath and the process of breathing.

This moment is for you to breathe into peace and calm.

As we move towards the end of this opportunity of self-love and healing,

I invite you to be present right here in this moment with your next few breaths.

Let your breath fill you with calm and power.

Focus on the very sensation of the breath as it flows through your body.

Reflect to just this moment and release the need to react.

Now expand your awareness from the breath to the rest of your body and the room around you.

Know that by caring for yourself this way,

You no longer need to question yourself.

It is time to trust yourself enough to know that you are consciously choosing to care for yourself in this moment.

This opportunity is here to ground yourself in peace whenever you feel triggered.

Choose to respond in safety for yourself and those around you.

And with peace,

Grace,

And unconditional love for yourself.

Exhone the agility.

Thank you--- your words rang true, so accepting! I was able to return, when my mind wandered, without guilt! One of the best short meditations! Rebecca
