Hello friend,

It's time for our daily affirmation,

Inspiration,

And mindful journaling prompt.

Today we are reading Inspiration 326.

I am willing to challenge myself and leave my comfort zone.

You are a fearless adventurer.

You understand that growth and transformation come from stepping outside your comfort zone and you embrace the challenges that come your way.

Whether it's trying a new hobby,

Taking on a new project at work,

Or pursuing a new relationship,

You are willing to take the risk and put yourself in a place to reach new heights.

You know that the road ahead is not always easy,

But you are confident in your ability to overcome any obstacle that comes your way.

Each step you take outside of your comfort zone,

You become stronger,

More resilient,

And more empowered.

This makes me think of when I was writing my thesis for my certification,

And gosh when was that?

That was before 2000,

So it was a while ago.

And it was hard,

Because,

Well,

And at the end of the day it actually wasn't that hard because it wasn't like I didn't know the content.

I was just really intimidated by the word thesis,

And apparently there were a lot of other people that were intimidated by that term be applied to this particular part of the certification process,

Because later they changed it to a practicum.

It was the same thing,

It just had a different name,

But I will tell you it was it was hard.

I was challenged.

I felt like,

Oh my gosh,

I'm never gonna be able to get this done,

But I pushed.

I really,

Really,

Really wanted to do this.

I really wanted to get to the certification.

It ended up really working out well,

Because I did get the certification.

I did finish that,

And I went on to have a very successful career in that industry,

And was recognized as one of the leaders in the industry.

I loved every minute of it,

But if I hadn't have stepped outside my comfort zone to create that document,

And it was way outside my comfort zone,

Because I'd never done it before.

So trust me when I say try,

And if you don't get it right the first time,

Like the first time I did mine,

It got sent back,

And my mentor said to me,

Hey I know you know the content,

Just make sure it's in there.

I was like okay,

And the second time it passed.

I looked at it 20 years later,

And it's like how did I pass?

I don't even know,

But okay.

Step outside your comfort zone,

Because know that challenging yourself gives you the ability to go on to do bigger and better things.

There's always going to be challenges,

And they're great.

Sometimes you fail,

And sometimes you don't,

But you're not going to know unless you try.

So I encourage you to step outside your comfort zone when it makes sense,

But do it.

Your mindful journaling prompt for today is what limiting beliefs or fears are holding me back from leaving my comfort zone.

Yeah,

That.

That right there.
