Hello friend,
It's time for our daily affirmation,
Inspiration,
And mindful journaling prompt.
Today we are on inspiration 322.
I am a living,
Breathing example of the kind of world I want to live in.
You embody the values and principles that you hold dear and you inspire others to do the same.
You lead by example,
Showing compassion,
Kindness,
And respect to everyone you meet.
You stand up for what you believe in and take action to create positive change in the world.
You know that the world is not perfect but you believe that together we can make it a better place.
You are committed to making a difference and leaving a positive impact on the world.
Your actions and words have the power to inspire others to do the same and together we can create a world that is more compassionate,
Just,
And equitable.
Now if I was going to be a Debbie Downer,
I would get all hung up on all the things that aren't equitable but I really,
Really believe that we are creating a more equitable world.
There's examples of that everywhere,
Everywhere around us.
Just look around.
I mean,
Take me for example.
I own not one but two small businesses.
Fifty years ago,
That wouldn't have been possible.
I remember when I was in my 20s and going to work,
I felt like I had to work twice as hard as anybody else to prove my worth.
Now I don't feel like I have to work twice as hard.
I still work hard because I like what I do.
The opportunities are there in ways they weren't before.
Now do we still have work to do?
Absolutely.
Do I make a difference?
Yes.
Do you make a difference?
Absolutely.
Every single one of us makes a difference how we treat people,
How we give people the benefit of the doubt.
We judge them not on their appearance but on how they show us who they are.
We each have the opportunity every single day to show somebody a little kindness and empathy.
Your mindful journaling prompt for today is,
How do I live in alignment with my values?
If you'd like to share what came up for you in your journaling,
I would love to see it.
Have a lovely day.
