Hello,
It's time for our daily affirmation,
Inspiration,
And mindful journaling prompt.
I'm reading from my book Inner Affirmation Inspirations.
Today we are reading Inspiration 321.
Difficult times help me appreciate the good times.
Difficult times remind you of the preciousness of life and the importance of gratitude.
When you face challenges,
You learn to appreciate simple things in life that you may have taken for granted.
You learn to find joy in the present moment and to focus on the positive aspects of your life.
You become more resilient and adaptable while developing a deep sense of compassion and empathy for others.
Difficult times are not easy,
But they are an opportunity for growth and transformation.
And this makes me think of,
You know,
Yes,
I've had some tough times.
We've all had tough times in our lives where we are just beside ourselves.
Like,
How can this get worse?
Or why is this so bad?
And yet,
When we're in that place,
If we can think and feel those moments of joy that we've had in the past,
It can give us hope.
We have hope to move forward and to appreciate when things are great.
And when things are great,
Like right now,
They're great for me,
And I think about those times in my life that were bad or really,
Really rough.
I'm very grateful that I'm where I am now.
And not only am I grateful for where I am now,
I'm also grateful for those difficult times because those difficult times have shaped me.
Those experiences have shaped who I am and what I appreciate and why I can appreciate it so much more.
Because when things are always good,
Well,
Then it's tough to appreciate when they're great because if you don't have anything to compare it to.
And I'm not saying that I want things to be bad.
I don't.
But those things happen.
So appreciate those difficult times as much as you appreciate the good times.
Your mindful journaling inspiration today is,
How can I keep the good times in life,
Top of mind,
During challenges to maintain a positive outlook?
I'd be interested to see what comes up for you in your journaling.
So if you'd like to share that with me,
I'd be delighted to see it.
