This lesson is not mandatory. It depends on your schedule and level of insomnia. You may skip it but go back to it later if you need it. It is worthwhile creating your own Sleep Diary to keep a record of your nightly routine. It will help you know exactly where you are right now in order to make improvements for a healthy future. The numbers and information that logging your sleep reveals to you may be a surprise.

There are two types of insomnia. The first is sleep onset and the second is sleep maintenance. It is quite common to experience a combination of both.

Timing Your Sleep

This is an important and effective way to make your sleep more efficient. Sleep scheduling will get you back on track by using the sleep systems to your advantage.

Manage Your Environment

Relapse And Self-Compassion

What happens when you are enjoying a great nights sleep again and then an insomnia relapse happens? Here are a few practical instructions for when you have not had 4 hours of more for 5 days or more which is considered a relapse. Remember to be patient and kind to yourself through the process. Love yourself unconditionally like you would a baby to sleep like a baby!

I really got a lot of great information out of this which I haven’t gotten some other sweet insight timer courses on this. So I appreciate that so much. I also appreciated that they were short daily practices and not really long in depth talks.
