Settle into a comfortable position lying down in your bed,

Noticing where your body makes contact with your mattress,

Your pillow,

And your blanket.

Take a nice cleansing breath in and feel your body melting into your bed as you prepare for this sleep meditation.

Gently close your eyes and imagine you're standing at a dock along the ocean.

The water is a beautiful shade of blue,

So crystal clear that you can see the fish vividly swimming below the surface.

The sun is bright and you can feel its gentle warmth radiating along your body.

There is a calm breeze in the air with notes of salt from the water and of lavender from flowering plants nearby.

You see a ship steadily approaching the dock and you know that it's there to pick up a very important and special passenger—you.

You walk up into the dock where you're greeted by the captain,

Who leads you to a large,

Beautiful recliner.

The recliner is plush,

Luxurious,

And spacious.

You're pleased to see that it was made in your favorite color.

You sit down,

Feeling your body melting into its soft and plush cushions.

You notice a soft,

Velvety button on the side of the recliner,

And as you press it down,

The recliner supports your legs and feet as they gently rise to your desired position.

You feel relaxed,

Calm,

Grounded,

And safe here.

You look out into the horizon of the expansive sea and notice the ship is approaching a beautiful private island.

You notice the shore is covered with crisp white sand,

And there are large trees bearing coconuts.

You feel relaxed and calm,

And it almost feels like you're arriving at a place that feels like home.

You love that you get to see this beautiful view while lying back in your recliner on the large,

Luxurious ship.

You take a cleansing breath in and notice the air feel slightly cool from the gentle ocean breeze while the rays of the sun gently rest on your forehead and shoulders.

You hear the sound of the calm water nestling up to the bottom of the ship as it moves through it,

Gently swishing as the ship approaches the shore.

The captain tells you that time has stopped and this island was created just for you.

She explains that the island is free from stress,

Worries,

Or obligation,

And that you may visit this island whenever you like.

You thank the captain for getting you to this beautiful island safely.

Before you walk off the ship,

You decide to leave any feelings of tension and negativity behind.

As you walk off the ship,

You instantly notice a feeling of calm,

Grounding,

And safety as your feet touch the sand.

You'll notice the feeling of warmth from the sand traveling up your body,

Leaving tingles on the back of your neck.

You can smell hints of coconut from the coconut trees nearby.

You look forward to exploring the island,

But you feel tired from your journey and decide that you would like to take a nap.

You see a beautiful shaded hut and decide to look inside.

When you walk into the hut,

You see a large luxurious bed and know that it was placed there just for you.

You decide this is where you will rest.

You gently lift up the lush covers and notice the sheets have been freshly washed and have a light calming scent.

You settle in and lay your head on the plush cool pillow,

Which gently supports your neck.

You take a few deep breaths in and feel a sense of gratitude to have arrived at this beautiful island.

You hear the breeze run through the trees and hear the swishing of the ocean in the distance.

You start to feel your eyelids get heavier and heavier.

You close them and let your body fall into a deep,

Restful sleep.
