This relaxing guided mindfulness meditation will allow you to centre and ground yourself by releasing any tension or negativity within your body by transforming them into bubbles which you will watch before they steadily dissipate.

Transcript

Settle into a comfortable position,

Either lying down on your back or seated with your feet flat on the floor beneath you.

You may choose to close your eyes if that is comfortable for you,

Or you can have your eyes open in a soft gaze in front of you.

I'd like to invite you to bring your attention to the present moment.

Take a nice,

Steady,

Cleansing breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Continue breathing in this way for a few breaths to help ground yourself and become more present.

On your next inhale,

I'd like to invite you to imagine your breath traveling through your body and picking up any tension or negativity stored.

You may think of your breath sort of like Pac-Man,

Picking up anything on its path.

Imagine your breath as it travels through your legs,

Torso,

Upper body,

Shoulders,

Head,

And your face,

Picking up anything that you feel you want to release.

As you exhale,

I want you to imagine that your breath has transformed anything that it picked up into beautiful,

Shiny,

Iridescent bubbles,

As if you were exhaling through a bubble wand.

Imagine multiple bubbles floating around you,

Each in different sizes and shapes,

Some big,

Some small,

Shiny,

And iridescent.

As you continue to breathe,

Watch or witness these bubbles without any judgment.

Notice them as they float around the room,

Some bouncing around momentarily before popping,

Others popping instantly,

And others floating farther into the distance before finally popping.

You take a moment and smile to yourself and marvel at how your body has miraculously turned the stored-up negative energy or tension from the day into beautiful bubbles that are floating before your eyes and slowly dissipating.

Take another cleansing breath in,

Picking up anything that your body may have missed,

And again,

As you exhale,

Imagine any negative energy or tension transforming into bubbles that are exiting your body.

Take a few moments and watch them bounce through the air and slowly pop.

Witness your stressors and tension dissipate in front of you as each bubble flows and bounces before gently dissipating and popping.

When there are no longer any bubbles,

Take another cleansing breath in,

Taking note of any residual tension or negative energy in your body that you'd like to release.

Once no other bubbles have come out,

You may open your eyes and come back to the room,

Feeling lighter and more relaxed.
