Begin by allowing yourself to settle.

Wherever you are in this moment,

Allowing yourself to feel a little bit more grounded.

Noticing the bottom of your feet,

Noticing the top of your head,

And noticing all the space in between.

Gently beginning to tune into your breath.

The breath is one of our core internal rhythms,

And tuning into it can be very helpful for connecting to an internal sense of ourselves in each moment.

So noticing your breath,

Noticing the rise and fall of your belly and chest,

The feeling of air moving in and out.

Each time that you inhale,

Take in something that you need,

Something you'd like to receive.

Into your body,

Into your mind,

And as you exhale,

Letting go of anything you don't need,

Anything you'd like to release.

Repeating that a few more times,

Taking in as you inhale what you'd like to receive,

And as you exhale what you'd like to release.

It can be anything,

A feeling,

A color,

A sensation,

But allowing yourself to take in and to let go.

Just noticing the breath as it moves in and out of your body,

And coming back to this simple exercise any time that you'd like,

Just focusing on receiving with your inhale,

Releasing with your exhale.

Yes!! Thank you. Love that there is no end. I can keep focusing on what I’m receiving and releasing until I’m done. 🦋 Years later this is still one of my top two titles here. Top guided. My other one is music. Many thanks.

I like the concept of breathing in the things you need and breathing out what you don’t. Thank you for this.
