Give yourself permission to roar. With five rounds of Lion’s Breath, you’ll purge stress, unclench the jaw, and energize your communication center. This simple technique activates the throat chakra, softens jaw/shoulders, and cuts through self-doubt so you can return to calm, confident presence.

Welcome to today's practice on lion's breath.

This is the perfect opportunity for you to activate your throat chakra and to release any built up tension in your body.

Lion's breath is exactly what it sounds like.

You'll have an opportunity to roar through your mouth.

Before we begin,

Let me explain.

You'll be taking a big,

Deep inhalation in through your nose and then a big exhalation out with your mouth open and your tongue as far out as possible and actually vocalizing your exhale.

If you'd like to take it all the way in a lion's breath,

You can even try a roar.

So let's begin with five rounds of lion's breath.

Big inhalation in through the nose,

Full mouth and tongue out,

Exhalation,

Roar out.

Big inhalation in through the nose,

Roar out.

Inhalation and exhale.

Inhale and exhale.

Two more times.

Last one,

Make it a good one.

Going back to your regular breath.

I invite you to tune in.

See if you feel any shifts in your throat.

Allow yourself to just notice,

Where do you want to roar today?

You got this.

Thanks.
