Welcome to this practice on coherent breathing.
We are going to mix things up a little bit.
And instead of going from your head to your feet,
We're going to start from your feet going up to your head.
So I want to invite you first to uncross your legs if they're crossed,
Feel them planted in the earth.
Uncrossing your arms,
Just creating an easy flow through your body.
If you haven't yet,
You can close your eyes or gaze down.
And now I invite you to bring your awareness to the bottoms of your feet.
Begin to inhale as slowly as you possibly can,
Envisioning as if you are breathing up from the earth through your feet,
Through your legs,
Your seat,
Your torso,
Your arms,
Your head,
And then slowly out through your nose,
Taking as much time as you're able.
Once a cycle is complete,
Then once again,
Visualizing pulling up energy from the earth through your feet,
Through your legs,
Your seat,
Your torso,
Your arms,
Up through your neck,
Your head,
And then out through your nose.
Continue with this cycle,
Feeling the energy moving from the earth up,
Out through your nose,
And allowing yourself to be fully present with each breath.
Nothing you need to change,
Nothing that needs to be fixed,
Just moving as slowly as you can,
Up from the earth,
In through your body,
Into your head and then out through your nose.
Slowing down,
Tuning in,
And creating coherence with your breath.
One more round,
As slow as you possibly can,
Feeling that slow down,
Feeling that release.
What a gift to know you can tune into your breath,
Become more coherent,
And more connected with the earth.
Anytime you need it,
Come back to this practice to slow down,
Tune in,
And get ahead.
You've got this.
