Org Root Chakra Grounding Meditation Lie down or sit comfortably with your spine supported.

Your whole body can relax and allow your eyes to softly flutter closed.

Sensing into your body as your breath sends roots down from the surface of your body,

Deep into the fertile earth on exhale.

And draws nourishment up through those roots to every cell of your body as you inhale.

Continue that sense of deeply grounding,

Anchoring,

Breathing.

And you may wish to allow your thumb tip and ring finger tip to comfortably connect.

This is an earth element balancing,

Mudra or seal,

Prithvi mudra earth balancing seal of energy.

As you continue to feel the exhale,

Send roots down and draw nourishment up on the inhale.

Say to yourself,

I am calm.

You might choose,

I am grounded.

Now allow a beautiful ruby red color to flow right from the base of your spine to encompass you in its soothing,

Warm glow.

And as you float within its safe ruby glow,

Let that ruby light now travel through the body,

Calming your right hand,

Thumb and each of your four fingers.

Sweeping up the right arm,

Calming the lower and upper arm and shoulder.

Sweeping down the right side,

Body calming the waist and hip and leg and right foot.

The ruby glow at the left hand sweeps through the thumb and fingers,

The lower and the upper arm soothing,

Warming your left shoulder and waist,

Calming your left hip,

Thigh,

Leg,

Calming your left foot and toes.

And that warm rich red light smooths up the back of the body and down the front of the body,

Lighting,

Caressing your right cheek and left,

Right ear and left.

Your right eyes,

Right and left eyes,

Sweeping down your torso,

Your belly,

Both arms,

Both legs.

Now you can feel your belly gently rise as you're being inhaled and your belly gently falling as you're being exhaled.

You're going to count your breath from five backwards to one,

Like you're stepping down five stone stairs to a very comfortable safe room.

Counting belly up five,

Belly down five,

Belly up four,

Belly down four.

Counting belly up three and belly down three,

Belly up two and down two.

And finally belly up one and belly down one.

And repeat your sentence to yourself,

I am calm,

I am grounded,

I am safe,

I am anchored,

I am rooted.
