Welcome.

This is your host,

Marianne Pack,

Spiritual medium,

Author,

And joyologist.

This reading is entitled,

Every Situation is Temporary.

Does where you're standing right now feel good,

Feel satisfying,

Feel pleasant,

Or even joyful?

Or does where you're standing right now feel bad,

Feel unsatisfying,

Feel miserable,

Or even painful?

I have great news for you.

Every situation in which you find yourself is always temporary.

This too shall pass.

We love knowing that the bad times will pass because it gives us hope to endure it a bit longer.

But so do the good times.

And that's not a bad thing.

These changing situations are here to help us choose what we really want.

When we experience the bad times,

They let us know what we'd prefer and what improvement we'd love to experience.

They offer us the opportunity to decide and make our preferences known to the universe.

When we experience good times,

They let us feel more of the way we truly want to feel.

They allow us to catch a glimpse of who we need to be to feel the way we want to feel more often.

We must have both because they provide us with a comparison so we know what we'd prefer.

Recently,

I was having a bad time.

I had just launched my first book in a series,

We Are Joy.

I had been flying high on the excitement of the launch and as we reached best-selling book ranking in three categories,

Five-star reviews were coming in and it was all very exciting.

I know from past experience that this kind of excitement,

Excited joy,

Does not last.

That very high vibration must pass or I will pass out.

But I knew I wanted to revel in the joy so that it would solidify that vibration in my spirit,

Mind,

And body.

We simply can't maintain a mountaintop experience forever.

We must experience the valleys as well.

So my mountaintop joy began to wane and I felt the excitement drain from my body and I noticed I was getting very tired.

Then my lower left back started hurting.

I've experienced this kind of hip pain before because usually it comes for a few days and is gone once I treat it with kindness,

Do some stretching,

And relax some with self-love and self-care.

This time it was starting to really hurt.

The sharp pain and the tightness in my hip were causing me to baby that side of my body and limp as I walked.

Sitting was even beginning to cause me pain.

So this pain was definitely getting my attention.

What was my body trying to tell me?

I know that low back pain is emotionally caused by fears around finances.

Duh!

That's why I've been so familiar with this kind of pain.

I've never really felt secure financially,

Even when we had enough money.

I was always fearful that it would end.

So I can see how I created this lower back pain emotionally,

Metaphysically.

My body was simply responding to my underlying culmination of fearful thoughts.

I had allowed myself to continue to think about financial concerns.

My hubby had not been working as he had been sick for a couple of months and spent a week in the hospital.

And being self-employed,

We don't have insurance.

Yikes!

I had been allowing myself to feel fearful for too many days in a row and was not expressing.

And now it was expressing in my body.

Then this wonderful message came through my email one day.

The joyous place you may be standing is temporary.

And the abhorrent place that you may be standing is temporary.

Your now reality is only a temporary,

Momentary culmination of what you've been thinking about.

Abraham Hicks.

Ah yes!

Confirmation from infinite intelligence.

Everything we experience is always temporary.

Since we never hold a thought forever,

Our experience can never be static.

As our thoughts shift from positive to negative and back again,

So does where we stand at any moment.

As Abraham says,

Our current reality is simply a momentary culmination of what we've been thinking about.

If we don't like our current condition or situation,

Simply begin shifting our thoughts so we change our reality in the next moments.

Since this time,

I had been bolstering my vibration and soothing my fears by listening to amazing meditations and music on Insight Timer,

Where I'm also a teacher.

Some of the mantras are set to beautiful music.

So when I would get up during the night and couldn't fall back to sleep,

I began singing these mantras and soon I'd be fast asleep.

Anywho,

I just wanted to let you know it's okay that everything we experience is temporary.

It's so humanly normal to feel all the feels.

Don't be ashamed of the feels,

Even when they don't feel very good.

Our inner being is not scolding us or judging us for feeling bad.

They,

Of course,

Will never join us in our low vibrational condition because they are joyously holding their attention on everything wonderful we desire to be ready when we return to alignment.

That's why we feel so bad in the first place.

We feel bad because of our inner beings will not go there in the depths with us.

If they did,

We wouldn't feel bad because we would still be aligned with our inner being.

We feel the discord in our relationship between us and our inner beings and this is a very good thing.

We need to be able to know when we are in alignment and when we are out of alignment.

We do this by noticing how we're feeling.

As you know,

Every thought is attached to an emotional response.

Feeling good or feeling bad.

So we can absolutely know which direction we're heading in if we simply notice how we're feeling.

If we want to change our situation because it's not feeling good to us,

Then we must change our thoughts to align with what our inner being knows,

Thinks and feels about us and our situation,

Which will always and only feel really good.

Because I spent time thinking more in alignment with my inner being and feeling my way there,

As I felt into better and better feeling thoughts,

Guess what happened to that nasty back pain?

Gone.

Vanished.

Poof.

I don't know why it still amazes me when I get into alignment and see the magic unfold.

I should be used to this by now,

But I'm always thrilled to see when I've created a better now for myself because I've worked on aligning with my desires instead of my don't wants or scarcity mindset.

When I was in that bad time,

I knew it wouldn't last.

Even though it was painful at the time,

I knew I had the tools to feel better.

Spirit,

Mind and body.

I just had to do the work.

Almost every time my mind would wander into the scarcity crap,

I would notice the sting of emotional pain I felt.

I would acknowledge where I was headed and nipped it in the bud.

I immediately turned my attention to something I loved or appreciated.

I started singing a beautiful mantra.

I'd think about anything that brought me more relief,

Which eventually brought me back into alignment with the joy of who I really am.

So in what situation do you find yourself right now?

If you love it,

Great!

Revel in it.

Taste every juicy morsel of its deliciousness until there's no flavor left and you know what it's like as you look for it in the future experiences.

Anchor that feeling in your body.

If it's not so pleasant,

You have the ability to shift it and not wallow around in misery.

Be happy that this time is giving you the opportunity to choose what you'd prefer.

Thank this feeling of dissatisfaction because it definitely lets you know what you would really,

What would really be satisfying.

Be thankful that you possess the free will of your thoughts.

Only you can think one thought for you,

So you really are in complete control,

If you want to be.

What will you do the next time your joy wanes and you enter the valley moments?

Will you look up the side of the joy mountain and complain you're not there?

Or will you look up the side of the joy mountain and reach for the nearest good-feeling thought ledge and pull yourself up?

Then reach for the next good-feeling thought ledge and pull yourself up even higher.

There's only the effort of reaching for the next better-feeling thought.

As you get started and the momentum starts flowing,

The universe will assist you by feeling your new vibrational output and send you more thoughts that match the feeling of the previous ones you've reached for.

Then it gets easier and easier to find the next thought that feels pretty darn good.

When we continue to reach for the best-feeling thoughts,

Our visits to the mountaintops will last longer and be even more enjoyable with every visit.

To your joyously temporary situations,

Big hugs,

Marianne.
