This poetry track is an invitation to stay true to one’s offering amidst the pressures of uniformity, especially in a time captivated by metrics and instant validation. This piece acknowledges the vulnerability of longing for recognition and connection while celebrating the uniqueness of one’s path. Let it inspire you to create for the love of creating, and to trust that authenticity will draw kindred spirits to your journey. This track is part of a series of 15 reflective poems on Insight Timer under the theme 'I Ask My Being,' each exploring an aspiration, its accompanying challenges, as well as observations to help find solace in our experiences. Averaging around five minutes each, these poetic soliloquies are perfect for savasana, mindful walks, bedtime musings, and peaceful drives. Each track features my narration, set to a neoclassical piano composition by Arash Behzadi.

And I take responsibility for my role in extending them.

With my misguided likes and clicks.

But I create for the love of creating,

And meaning making,

Not for prestige or praise.

When I long for connection,

I will find comfort in knowing there are kindred spirits whose trails will intersect my own.

But how am I to chance upon them unless I convey what is truly mine?

The whorls and lines of my path,

Like a fingerprint,

Cannot be cloned.

It is from these ridges that my art unfolds.

And it is for the making of art that my heart
