Welcome to this five minute self love meditation.
I invite you to begin by choosing a quiet environment to meditate in.
Just finding a comfortable seat.
And then I invite you to close your eyes and just start to cultivate those nice deep breaths.
Inhaling and exhaling.
Starting your inhale from the base of your belly,
Working your way up through the rib cage and the chest.
Noticing how you're sitting,
Starting from the sit bones.
Feeling yourself rooted into a mat or cushion or a chair.
Working your way up through the spine,
Elongating the spine.
Coming to the shoulders,
Drawing the shoulders away from the ears.
Scanning up the head,
The neck to the head.
Reaching the crown of the head towards the spine.
Scanning up the head,
The neck to the head,
Reaching the crown of the head towards the ceiling.
And so we'll find a place inside ourselves where we can be relaxed and comfortable.
And we'll just begin by saying some self love affirmations in our minds.
As we go through each affirmation,
Taking two nice deep breaths for each one,
Just saying them to yourself.
So I deserve my love.
I deserve happiness.
I deserve happiness.
I deserve happiness.
I forgive myself for my mistakes.
I grow to be a better person every day.
I deserve my love.
And so we'll go through those affirmations one more time,
Repeating them with intention and clarity.
The meaning behind the words is more important than just the words themselves.
So continuing to follow your inhales and exhales with each affirmation.
I deserve my love.
I deserve happiness.
I forgive myself for my mistakes.
I grow to be a better person every day.
And I deserve my love.
So allowing the warm and positive feelings of self love to build as you continue with your inhales and exhales.
As you continue with your inhales and exhales.
Just focusing on the breath and the body.
So we'll take three more nice deep inhales and exhales.
And then we can open our eyes and continue our day with these new improved feelings of self love.
