Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Rahim,
In the name of the one most compassionate,
Most merciful,
Most kind,
This is Mark Silver with Heart of Business and Welcome to Remembrance.
Sometimes when we face the year ahead of us and we have big dreams and visions,
It can seem like sometimes like we hit a wall or a ceiling.
Like there's something we can't get past.
So I want to encourage you in this moment to first start by just noticing how you're feeling and just noticing how much space there is to feel exactly how you're feeling without needing to change anything at all.
Letting your head bow and letting your heart bow.
Starting to remember the presence of the one.
Starting to call to the beloved through the open doorway of your heart.
Again,
Not trying to change or fix anything,
Just knowing,
Wondering,
Asking,
Listening,
Perceiving.
Is the divine here too?
And letting yourself be willing to be surprised.
Hmm.
And then just noticing if you have had the experience of feeling like you've run into a wall or hit a ceiling in trying to develop your business,
Whatever that wall or ceiling might be.
Wonder what it would be like to just allow yourself to stop pushing against that wall,
To stop pushing against the ceiling and just come up right close to it,
Which is where you are.
And just sit there.
Just let yourself face it.
Noticing the emotions that come up for you and your feelings about it.
And there's so much space to feel exactly how you feel about it without needing to change anything.
And at the same time letting your heart open,
Letting the Divine open your heart,
Asking the Divine to open your heart,
To really see this wall,
To really see this ceiling.
Sometimes we hit a barrier that isn't actually there.
It's one of our own creation.
And sometimes we hit a barrier that has been placed there for our protection,
That perhaps we're not quite ready to cross that barrier.
Or there might be something else.
And so letting yourself just sit with an open heart,
Calling the name of the Divine,
Being in the remembrance,
Being with a bowed head,
With what has to you felt like a barrier or a ceiling.
And just noticing what you notice,
Noticing what your heart shows you,
Noticing what's true.
Ho o meanwhile.
Ahh.
.
.
Just noticing what you notice.
Asking to be shown,
Willing to be surprised,
But also sitting back,
Not reaching for an understanding.
The mind can try to grasp something in an effort to control or to feel safe or to get some need met.
And what we're wanting is just the open inquiry of the heart,
The thirst of the heart,
The honesty and the sincerity and the humility of the heart in being with what you've perceived to be as a wall or a ceiling that might indeed be that or it might be something else.
And letting your experience and relationship with that in your heart come first before seeking any understanding of the mind.
The heart can be intimate and take it in and digest it and then the mind can glean from what the heart has taken up.
Rather than the grasping,
Reaching of the searchlight of the mind,
Trying to reach out ahead of the heart.
Instead of focusing your mind on the wall or the ceiling,
Focus your mind on your heart.
It's one of the benefits of bowing is that your mind starts to face your heart while your heart faces outwards towards the unknown and just continuing to remember.
Hmm.
Hmm.
Hmm.
Hmm.
Hmm.
Hmm.
Hmm.
Hmm.
Hmm.
Hmm.
Hmm.
Just noticing what you notice.
Noticing what's happening in your heart and what's coming through to your mind,
If anything.
And just again letting yourself sit back,
Letting your shoulders open,
Letting your belly relax,
Letting your feet rest upon the floor,
Letting your chair or whatever's under you support you,
Let yourself feel completely supported.
As you face a very intimate distance,
What you've been perceiving as a wall or a ceiling,
Whatever it is.
Just asking to be shown what is the divine nature asking to be shown.
Is love available even here?
Is the divine present even here?
Hmm.
Hmm.
Hmm.
Hmm.
Hmm.
Hmm.
Hmm.
Hmm.
Just allowing yourself to remain in remembrance and continuing to call to the divine,
Continuing to stay present to your heart,
Just noticing what you notice.
Noticing if you notice,
If you perceive,
Hear,
See,
Know,
Anything different about this experience you've been having that you've been thinking of as a wall or a ceiling.
And noticing any authentic gratitude or appreciation for anything that you've experienced during this remembrance and letting yourself express that to the divine.
And if you're wanting to stay in remembrance,
Please do.
And if it's time for you to return your attention to the world,
I want to encourage you to hold the remembrance in your heart.
Take a nice gentle breath and then bring your attention back knowing that this is always available to you.
Peace and love.
