Find a comfortable place for you.
Whatever you choose,
Make it cozy like you are in your favorite sofa.
Make it comfortable on the inside and on the outside.
Create a safe space for yourself and this practice.
Take a deep breath in and release it slowly.
Bring your attention to the part of the body that touched the surface where you're sitting or lying.
Appreciate the support that the surface gives you.
Cherish the existence of it and try with your breath in and out to acknowledge your presence in the here and now.
There is nowhere to go.
There is nothing to rush for.
Just you,
Your breath in the present moment.
Realize that the present is all you have.
For a moment become conscious of what a beautiful and valuable treasure it is to be breathing here and now.
To have breath.
To be able to breathe in and out.
Nature has given you this amazing gift.
All of the systems in your body work in synchronicity with nature's systems and you are able to feel the air inside out and it gives you power.
It is your fuel and right now you have inexhaustible resources for it.
Enjoy it.
Reap the benefits of what Mother Nature has given you.
It has been given to all of us.
To every person you pass on the street.
To everyone you love and to those who love you.
To every soul that comes on earth.
Take a deep breath in and let yourself settle into this relaxed state.
Release the breath and let your mind clear as the air passes through your nostrils.
Let your body relax.
Let your body settle into this peaceful moment.
Breathe in and feel every place that the air touches in you.
Breathe out and let it remove anything that isn't needed in this moment.
Inhale and allow your breath to pull you deeper.
Become one with it.
Exhale try to release the to-do list that you keep in your mind.
Release what happened before your meditation and what will happen after.
Free yourself from every outcome and expectation.
It's just you and your flowing breath.
Breathe and leave aside every past or future conversation that you're playing in your head.
Exhale the results of this conversation.
If your mind wanders and thoughts start coming your way let them be.
Let them be there without defining your mood or defining you.
Be present in the presence of your thoughts and then softly and gently tell your thoughts that it's time to go.
Because now you are having a date with your breath and you cherish this time dearly.
Inhale and receive the beautiful touch of air inside of you.
Exhale let everything settle in its place.
Deep breath in.
Open yourself up.
Open the space.
Open the body.
Open your mind.
Long exhale out.
Find balance.
Find harmony in the sacred rhythm of your breath.
Continue breathing naturally and let the air replenish you.
Let it heal every place that needs to be healed in this moment.
Eckhart Tolle said that true freedom and the end of suffering is living in such a way as you had if you had completely chosen whatever you are feeling or experiencing at this moment.
So at this very moment as your breath is flowing in and out choose to be here with it.
Choose ease.
Choose lightness.
Because initially this breath,
This body and this calm mind are your true home.
The only one that you really own and you are taking it everywhere with you.
No matter where you go it is always inseparable from you.
Breathe in and clean up the dust from past experiences and pain.
Exhale out.
Release everything but keep the lessons you've learned.
So make this space inside of you a comfortable one.
Cuddle in your breath and relax.
Inhale deeply.
Exhale out the mouth.
When you are ready open your eyes and know that wherever you go and whatever you do you have a home inside of you that you can always get back to.
You have a safe space that you can rely on.
Keep this energy today,
Tomorrow and the day after.
Because all you've ever needed is hidden under your skin.
