There are so many reasons and situations in which anxiety can come to the surface. This feeling can make us think that we do not hold the power or that the power was taken from us. These affirmations are here to remind you quite the opposite. We hold the power in our breath and in our ability to bring our awareness to the inhale and the exhale.

Welcome to this moment.

I'm happy that you're taking time for yourself to nurture your inner world with the words that are going to follow.

We all have experienced unease at some point.

This feeling can quickly take charge and make us freeze.

But we are only humans.

And we humans sometimes feel fear,

Worry and helplessness.

Many reasons and situations can wake up the anxiety but it's the awareness that will bring us back here to this breath.

Affirmations are a way of overcoming negative self-talk and replacing it with more positive,

Reflective,

Empowering and meaningful messages.

So now I invite you to take a deep breath with me.

Open up the space and feel your chest expand and your pale,

Your eyes.

Exhale and let the air pass through your body as it finds its way out.

Inhale again.

Slow,

Long,

Expansive.

Exhale and release mindfully.

Breathe in once again and imagine the air going to every part of your body.

Breathe out through the mouth and let everything in you settle.

Be here.

Now.

Repeat the following affirmations silently in your mind or if you feel like it,

You can speak them out loud.

The choice remains yours.

I am safe.

I am safe in my body and with my breath.

I know that my breath and this body work together and they are my best friends.

With my best friends I am powerful.
