Welcome to this inner guide meditation.
I am so glad you are here today to reconnect to your intuition,
Something innate within all of us.
You might be here today because there is a decision that's been weighing on you,
Or perhaps it's something you know you need to do,
But the fears feel so loud that you keep putting it off.
Whatever the reason,
I'm so glad you're here,
And more importantly,
Thank yourself for having the courage to sit with yourself today.
I know what it's like to have to make hard decisions,
To grapple with what to do or which path to take.
It can be so easy to outsource our decisions,
Our opinions,
Our desires to others,
And to let fear lead us astray,
But those fears are not trying to harm you,
They're simply just trying to keep you safe,
And when we can gently turn towards it,
Acknowledging them instead of trying to push them away,
We begin to realize something important,
Inner guide or spirit,
Whatever feels most true for you.
So let's just begin by gently arriving here now,
Your shoulders drop,
Just observing it,
Whatever decision or situation has been sitting with you,
And just asking yourself,
What,
Noticing where you feel it in your body,
You might even like to acknowledge it by saying,
I see you,
Thank you for trying to protect me,
And now that we've placed those fears aside,
You might ask what actually feels most true for me here,
A soft no,
Steady,
And whatever decision you are holding right now,
Can you begin to trust that you are capable of making the best decision you can in this moment,
Not the perfect decision,
Not the forever decision,
Just the best one you can make right now,
Can you allow that to be enough,
If you look back at your life,
You may notice something quietly true,
You are someone who has figured it out again and again,
So perhaps the question is not whether you will get it right,
But whether you can begin to trust the version of you who already knows how to meet life as it unfolds.
