Feeling the air expand your chest.
Hold and exhale,
Releasing tension.

Inhale.
Now bring your awareness inward,
Feel the weight of your body against the ground.
Feel the quiet hum of your own existence.
You are safe here,
You are held.
Now I want you to notice any tension within you.
Not to push it away,
But to meet it with curiosity.
Where does the anxiety live in your body?
Does it sit in your chest,
Your stomach,
Your shoulders?
If it had a colour,
What colour would it be?
If it had a movement,
Is it still or shifting,
Pulsing,
Tightening?
Take a breath and simply observe.
No judgement,
No resistance,
Just witnessing.
Now place one hand gently over your heart.
Feel the warmth of your own touch and whisper to yourself,
I see you.
Let these words melt through any resistance.
You are not fighting your anxiety,
You are listening.
And in listening you begin to set it free.
Now imagine a single golden thread running through the tension in your body.
This thread is warm,
Soft,
Luminous.
It begins at the centre of your chest and it starts to untangle.
Slee,
Gently.
With every inhale the thread loosens another knot.
With every exhale another weight falls away.
Breathe in,
Feel the gold thread weave through every tight place.
Exhale,
Feel it unravel,
Unwind,
Release.
Allowing softness to spread.
Exhale,
Letting go of what no longer needs to stay.
Now continue this on your own for a few breaths.
Let the golden thread move where it needs to be.
Let it unravel what is ready to be released.
And exhaling.
And now as the last of the tension unravels,
Feel yourself becoming lighter.
Now speak these words quietly in your mind.
I am not my anxiety.
There is peace beneath this storm.
I am safe in my own mind.
I am returning home to myself.
Feel the truth of these words settling into your being.
You are not unraveling into nothingness.
You are unraveling into your true self.
Calm.
Now take a deep breath in.
And as you exhale,
Feel yourself drop into a vast open space.
A space of pure stillness.
No more holding.
Just a deep,
Effortless calm.
Breathe into this space.
Feel how much room there is inside you.
Open.
Expansive.
Boundless.
Let yourself float here.
Cradled in this quiet peace.
There is nothing you need to do.
Nowhere you need to go.
This peace is yours.
It has always been yours.
Slowly begin to bring awareness back to your body.
Feel the ground beneath you.
