Let's just take a moment to relax our shoulders,
Relax our jaw,
Let the tongue fall away from the roof of the mouth and let's just sigh for a moment on the exhale of the breath.
Let's loosen our fingers and our hands,
Release the tension in the feet and the toes,
Let the hips soften and let's take a deep inhale and as we exhale,
Remembering to sigh a little again and with each sigh let the shoulders loosen a little more,
Breathing deeply and slowly allowing the inhale and exhale to come from the stomach,
Not the upper chest.
Inhale and exhale.
If you can let your eyes close,
Taking solitude in the darkness,
Taking solitude in the home that is you,
Your internal home,
Reconnecting for a moment with the essence that is you,
Your inner ring to allow that sigh,
Releasing and letting go on the exhale.
Within this darkness,
Within this connection of our inner home,
Finding ourselves again,
Coming back from the chaos and clutter of our mind,
Coming back from all of the information that is outside of us and just coming to the information that is us,
Our soul and our spirit,
Our true essence and our true core.
Knowing if we can tune into our heartbeat and if it's easier to do so placing your hands over your heart,
Let's just be aware of the rhythm of our heartbeat for a moment,
Being aware of the breath,
Being aware of the rhythm of our beating heart and all there is in this time and in this space is our breath and our heart.
Trying to keep the breath deep and slow and if thoughts come into your mind,
Just acknowledge them and let them drift away,
Not sticking,
Bringing your focus back to the breath and to the heart.
