Hello and welcome to this space.
My name is Maya and I'm going to be guiding you through this meditation today.
So this meditation is specifically supportive if you have been feeling scattered lately,
If you're not quite feeling like yourself.
Sometimes as we move through life we leave pieces of ourselves behind.
You can think of this a bit like energetic residue.
You can leave things with people that you love,
You can leave them in places that you often inhabit.
If you've been moving through a lot of crowds lately,
Those can be places where our energy just begins to leak a little bit.
So we're gonna call those pieces of ourselves back today,
All right?
To begin,
I invite you to just settle into your space.
Get comfortable,
Get cozy.
Make sure that you are somewhere where you will not be disturbed for a few minutes and you feel safe to relax.
When you feel ready,
You can close your eyes or if you do not feel safe to do so just let your gaze soften and rest somewhere on the horizon.
I'm gonna bring the attention and awareness down into the body.
Taking stock of how you feel today,
Just check in.
Notice without judging if there is any pain that is coming to the forefront of your awareness.
If there's anything that feels stiff or like it's asking for your attention.
We're going to draw that attention into the breath,
So focusing your awareness either on the chest or on the rise and fall of the belly.
And we're going to follow the breath for a few moments here.
As you focus your attention on the breath,
You may find that your breath naturally begins to deepen.
Don't need to force,
No need to push or pull the breath to go any faster than what feels comfortable and natural in this moment.
And as you're here to focusing on the breath,
I just invite you to let go of any idea of the right way to do this meditation.
There is no right way.
Your being here is enough.
It's enough.
So just take in your breath,
Follow the inhales and the exhales.
Trying a deep inhale in through the nose and letting it go also through the nose.
If you notice thoughts beginning to drift through your mind,
Gently bring yourself back to the breath.
Those thoughts will still be here in a few minutes.
Good.
So now we're going to just send our awareness out a little bit beyond the body.
I want you to imagine that there is a large sphere about your arm span away from your body.
So it's pretty close but it's not skin-tight.
It's a little bit away from you.
It's an energetic orb.
And this is your aura.
Just let yourself take it in.
Notice if you find it's a specific color.
It could be green,
It could be purple,
It could be white,
It could be blue.
Just see what feels natural for you.
You're going to notice if there is any glittery,
Shimmery energy around it.
If there is any dust,
If it looks like it's a little bit faded maybe.
Kind of notice if there's any holes in your aura too.
So you can send your awareness slowly scanning around this orb.
We're going to start in front of us as that's where our attention is naturally focused.
So just scanning the front of this orb.
You can bring your awareness up out above your eyes,
Above your eyeline,
Above the top of your head,
And also in front of your chest,
Down below your feet.
Just taking stock if there's any holes,
If there's any fractures in your aura.
And you're going to continue to scan,
Moving around to the right side of the body.
Again,
Scanning up,
Scanning down,
And if you aren't picking up on anything that's perfectly okay.
Trust that if something is meant to come to your awareness,
It will do so.
Bringing your awareness back around the back corner and behind the body.
Places that you might want to pay a little more attention to would be the back of the heart space,
The back of the skull,
The lower back.
Just noticing if you find any cracks or holes,
Anything sticking off of your aura in those spaces.
Coming around to the left side of the body,
Doing the same thing.
We're just witnessing.
There's no need to judge what you find.
And you're going to make your way around back to the front of the body.
So now that you're aware of your energetic aura and how it is feeling on this given day,
We're going to intend that a wash of bright white light gently caresses every aspect of your aura.
So this white light comes down from the sky and it just cleans any residue that you're finding on your aura.
It patches up any holes,
Slight pulses several times,
Wrapping its way around your aura,
Clearing anything that is attached to you that you no longer need.
Same thing,
We're going to call energy up from the earth to wrap around your aura,
To ground this energy so you feel anchored here back in your body so that you feel safe to be here.
Calling that energy up from the earth so you have pulses of energy coming down from the sky above you and as well from the earth below you,
Feeling how held you are in this moment.
The pulsations of light begin to fade and you are left with your aura.
Notice how it feels now to be in your energetic space.
Notice how safe you feel.
Notice how held you are by your own energy.
From this place,
Trusting that the aura will remain as it is,
Holding you.
We're going to bring your awareness back to the self.
At this point,
If you like,
You can place one hand on your chest and one hand on your belly.
We're going to intend that any pieces of yourself that you have left behind in the last days,
Weeks,
Months,
Maybe even years,
Just intending that it come back to you now,
Cleansed and purified.
Reclaiming those aspects of yourself that you have given away.
And if it helps,
You can imagine that you are a magnet and these pieces of yourself come flying back towards you from wherever they have been.
Maybe it's from your workplace.
Maybe it's from your parents' house or the mall that you went to the other day.
Maybe you're calling your power back from a difficult situation that you had to navigate last week.
Again,
We're just noticing what comes into our awareness.
Continuing to imagine these little pieces of yourself coming back to you,
Reattaching.
They are these little glowing orbs of light.
You can call back the dreaming self,
Any visions that you've had that maybe have become a tainted by the people that you shared them with.
You can call back your voice to speak with clarity and ease,
To feel safe enough to speak your truth.
You can call back your heart,
Trusting that the love that you've given will remain with those who it is meant to,
But that it's okay to give to yourself as well.
It's okay to give love to yourself,
To be held in nurturing energy.
It's okay to honor all the love that you give others,
The compassion,
The kindness,
And to give that to yourself as well.
You can call your power back.
This one is so easy for us to give away.
Just noticing any places where you may have given your power away.
You may have leaked energy where you may have decided that someone is more knowledgeable than you.
Someone has all the answers.
Calling that part of yourself back,
Trusting that you have the power to figure out any situation that you find yourself in,
And that you will find your way to the help that is needed,
To the guidance that is needed,
But you don't need to give your power away to others to do so.
Finally,
Calling your power back to your sacrum,
To your connection to the earth,
Reclaiming your connection to the natural world,
To what is sacred,
To the divine mother earth,
And trusting that this energy is here for you,
That she holds you just as she holds every aspect of nature.
Scanning over your body one last time,
Seeing if there's any last pieces of yourself that you feel called to ask to return to you now.
Just sit into your wholeness.
Feel how anchored you feel in your body.
Feel how you feel like yourself.
You feel rooted in this moment.
You feel the truth of your soul coming through,
And you continue to feel held in your energetic aura.
You can bring your awareness to the center of your being,
And just press your hands together over your heart,
Thanking yourself for showing up today.
Honoring that this work that you did will stay with you as you move out into the rest of the day,
The rest of your week,
And just know that if you ever feel scattered or disconnected from yourself,
It is entirely within your power to call your energy back,
To call back the pieces of yourself that you may have given away or left behind,
Cleansed,
Purified,
And ready to return to you.
You can feel the weight of your arms on your legs.
You can shift your weight from side to side.
Wiggle your fingers,
Wiggle your toes,
And when you feel ready to do so,
You can open your eyes.
