
Permission To Let Go & Rest

This is a 30-minute guided healing meditation to do at the end of your day, preferably at bedtime. If you struggle to let go, to quieten your overthinking mind and fall asleep, this practice will help you on many levels. It invites you to release the day and to give yourself permission to enter a deep state of relaxation for your mind, body, and energy field. You will be guided to call your energy back to yourself and align yourself with the energy of calmness, peacefulness, and deep rest.
Transcript
Gently close your eyes,
Breathe in and breathe out.
Using your intention and your out-breath,
Release the day,
Release the conversations you've had.
Allow yourself,
Your mind,
Your body,
Your energy body to arrive in this moment and to be fully present.
Let all of you know that this is your time,
A time for yourself,
A safe and nurturing time for relaxation,
Healing and letting go.
Using your intention,
Your breath,
Your inner eye and imagination,
Take your awareness to a point of light,
High up above,
As high as you can imagine,
Coming from the highest center place of the universe.
With your next breath in,
Draw this bright white light down.
Let it form a column of light and bring it down through the top of your head and through your body into your heart space.
And with your out-breath,
Let the light flush down and out through the palms of your hands,
The base of your spine,
The soles of your feet and release it into the ground.
Breathe in again from above,
Breathe in this universal white light with flecks of purple.
Draw the light down and feel it pouring down through your head and through your body.
And as you breathe out,
Flush it down through all parts of your being and into the earth.
Now take your awareness to the center of the earth.
Connect to the loving and supporting energy of the earth.
Breathing up,
Breathing up from that space.
Imagine you can absorb that energy of love,
Support and peacefulness.
Breathe it in through your feet,
Through the base of your spine.
Let the energy of the earth flow upward into your heart space and gift yourself this energy of support,
Loving calmness and peacefulness.
And now breathe out releasing upward through your head,
Sending the energy up to the infinite above you.
And once again take your awareness to the core of the earth.
Breathe in from the center of the earth.
Bring the loving and supporting energy of the earth through your feet,
The base of your spine and into your heart space.
In your heart,
Connect to the feeling of loving kindness and love.
And breathe out sending this loving energy up through your head,
Through the column of light,
All the way up to the infinite above you.
Now breathe in from above and below at the same time into your heart space and gently release.
One more time,
Breathe in from above and below into your heart space and release from the front and back of your heart space.
As you do this,
Allow your heart to open a bit more.
Let all of you know that you are safe,
You're held,
You're supported.
As we call on the Supreme Being in whatever way we understand it,
We call on the Divine Mother and the Divine Father.
We call on our soul and divine self.
We call on our full soul presence.
We call on our spiritual team,
Teachers and guides who love us unconditionally.
We call on all of the great ones who have mastered life on earth and will guide us and have unconditional love for humanity.
We ask for your blessings of grace,
Love,
Light,
Power,
Healing,
Illumination,
Wisdom,
Liberation,
Awakening of consciousness,
Discernment,
Guidance and protection.
We ask for your assistance in being liberated from all that holds us back,
Of all that doesn't serve us and of the illusion of control.
May we let go of the unnecessary tension and clenching by which we are holding on and may we be able to surrender with trust,
Ease and grace.
May our resting vibration be one of peacefulness,
Acceptance and calmness.
We ask this in full faith,
So be it.
Breathe in,
Allow the invocation and the intention to gently permeate through your body and your energy field.
Feel every cell of your body resounding with the intention we just formed and breathe out any resistance.
Many things happen through the day and as we prepare ourselves to rest and sleep,
It is important to set it all free and free ourselves at the same time.
Whether or not it's been a great day,
We've learned something that day.
Once we've acknowledged what it is that we've learned with no judgment or label,
It is a lot easier to let it go and to allow ourselves,
Our mind or body to relax.
Tune into yourself,
Review the day and as you are reviewing your day,
Gently ask yourself,
What did I learn today?
Let the answer come up,
Accept it,
Do not judge it,
Try to be a loving witness,
Simply acknowledge the learning.
Now take a breath in,
Allow the learning to be integrated and as you release the breath,
Just think thank you.
Now repeat after me,
I now cut all cords of attachment and lines of energy that keep me stuck in the past or in the future.
Breathe in and breathe out from the back and the front of your body,
Letting the past and the future go,
Becoming fully present in this moment and say,
I cut from all electronic devices,
I cut from any situations,
People and circumstances that are draining my energy and that are keeping me separated from the present moment.
I permanently cut and release from these now.
As a conscious act of will,
I set myself free,
Fully and completely,
So be it.
Take a deep breath in from above and breathe out from everywhere.
As you breathe out,
See these lines of attachment falling away,
Fading away,
See them being transmitted into unconditional love and light.
Now with your intention and your breath,
You're going to call yourself back into the present moment,
Into your own energy field.
Say after me,
I call my energy back.
I call my energy back.
I call my energy back.
Cleanse and purified,
Fully and completely now.
Breathe in and feel your energy coming back to you.
With your intention,
Really call it back to yourself and say,
I call my power back and I call my soul back.
To be fully present now,
Breathe in and pull all of you back into yourself,
Into your aura.
As you do this,
Welcome all these parts of you that are returning home and breathe normally.
Do this again,
Breathe in,
Drawing in all of you,
Every aspect and fragment of your energy back into your field,
Cleanse and purified.
Stay open and receptive and just allow these parts to merge back with love and acceptance.
Breathe in,
Allow your energy to expand and notice how it feels,
Notice how you feel and bring your awareness to your entire energy field and say,
I now release all negative energy,
Thoughts,
Emotions,
Vibrations,
All stress,
Fear and anxiety from my mind,
Body and energy field now.
Breathe in and with your out-breath release,
Let it all go,
Really let it go and say,
I now release all resistance,
All blockages and constrictions that will prevent the free flow of energy through my body and my energy field.
Breathe in and as you breathe out,
Give yourself permission to really let this go and be released.
Use your breath and your intention.
Bring your awareness to your head region and say after me,
I now ask that all negative energy,
Excessive stress hormones,
All electromagnetic radiation,
Blue light radiation,
Calcification and any imbalances now be released,
Extracted and expelled,
So be it.
Breathe in from above and release from your brain and the entire head region.
Do this again,
Breathe in from above and release.
Bring your awareness to a blue point of light right at the center of your brain.
Breathe in from above and release from that point.
Breathe in from above and release from that point.
Bring your awareness between your eyebrows and say,
I now release all habits and patterns,
Conscious or unconscious,
By which I hold onto things,
Overthink,
Clench and contract and I release all behaviors by which I cultivate the illusion that I can control everything as an act of free will and liberation.
I release this now,
Fully and completely,
So be it.
Breathe in and release from everywhere and say,
I am now ready to let go of any unconscious habits and patterns of being always on and not being able to switch off and unwind and I release any excuse or story that will have me justifying these behaviors.
I ask that this be dissolved and disintegrated on all levels and dimensions.
I understand how this isn't serving me nor does it serve my loved ones and I give myself full permission to let this go now.
So be it.
Breathe in and breathe out from everywhere and say,
I now release all habits and patterns conscious or unconscious,
By which I load myself with burdens and worries that are not mine and by which I carry other people's energy and responsibilities.
This isn't my role.
This doesn't help me.
It doesn't help them either.
It takes away the opportunity to learn and grow.
So I let this go now and give myself permission to extract and expel this from my inner programming on all levels.
So be it.
Breathe in and breathe out.
A long breathe out just letting it all go.
Let it be extracted and expelled.
And say after me,
Every day at the end of the day I acknowledge my learnings with gratitude.
And I allow myself to let the day go.
Breathe in and hold and breathe normally.
And say,
I give myself permission to let go of all that no longer serves me.
I do this with discernment,
Ease and grace.
Breathe in and hold and breathe normally.
And say,
Every day I allow myself to release all that isn't mine and all that isn't for me to take on.
I lovingly set myself and others free.
I give myself,
My mind,
My body and my energy field permission to rest,
To unwind,
To be without doing,
To be present,
To be peaceful.
And every night as I close my eyes I allow myself to switch off and I give myself permission to rest and rejuvenate in peace and tranquility.
Take a deep breath in and hold and breathe normally.
And say,
I give myself the time and the space my mind and my body need to renew and rejuvenate,
Regenerate.
I am balanced,
I am calm,
I am peaceful,
I am relaxed,
I am safe,
I am supported.
So it is.
And breathe in gently,
Hold,
Let your energy expand,
Let this affirmation permeate and penetrate through every layer of your energy field.
Let it become your new reality,
Your new vibration.
And breathe normally.
Imagine a light white blue light emanating from nature and the earth.
As you breathe in,
Bring this light into your energy field.
See it entering your body from the base of your spine,
Gently traveling up,
Up your spine,
Passing through your solar plexus.
And then going up all the way up and showering your head region.
And bringing your awareness to your head and neck and say,
I now release all of the stimulation of my nervous system.
All excess of energy and all congestion.
Breathe in and release downward from your head,
From your spine and solar plexus and from the base of your spine.
Breathe out and let it go.
Let it be flushed down and gifted to the earth.
Do this again.
Breathe in and release from your head,
From your spine,
From your solar plexus,
From the base of your spine using your breath and your intention.
Really let go.
And with each release,
With each out breath,
Allow your body to drop into the support beneath you.
Allow the body to relax.
And allow your muscle tension to ease.
Give permission to your entire being to soften.
Continue to visualize this light white blue light.
And with your next breath in,
Direct the light and your intention to your connective tissue.
And as you breathe out,
Give permission to any negative memories,
Any stuck energy and emotional baggage that no longer serve you.
Give it permission to be gently released and set it free.
Breathe in and breathe out.
Long and gentle breath out,
Letting go of everything that no longer serves you and anything that you no longer need to carry.
Breathe in and release.
And now bring this light white blue light into your solar plexus.
Breathe in into your solar plexus and with your out breath release.
And with each breath from now on,
Tune in more and more with the soothing feeling of calmness and peacefulness.
Bring your awareness to the bottom of your spine.
Breathe in this gentle,
Calming and soothing light white blue light.
And release.
As you release inwardly,
Give permission to your body and all of you to relax and to let go.
Breathe in the beautiful light.
And this time bring this light white blue light in between your eyebrows.
And with your out breath,
Let it be distributed around your body.
Bringing more and more relaxation to every part of your body,
Your mind,
Your emotions.
Inwardly,
Really allowing yourself to relax and really let go and rest.
Breathe in again.
Imagine the light white blue light turning into a gentle mist,
Filling up your energy field,
Filling up your aura.
Gently breathe out.
And see the mist turning into a very soft pink color.
Let it surround you.
Let it comfort you.
Like a gentle hug.
Inwardly,
Offer yourself that nurturing and loving hug.
Allow all of you,
Your energy field and your vibration to align to one of peace,
Love,
Gentleness,
Calmness and deep sleep.
May you be blessed with the grace of deep rest and deep sleep.
So be it.
