The exercise that we will do is the following.
We will go and begin with a certain something that makes us sad.
Hopefully we all have something at least small to be sad about.
And always the size should be something that we can take today as big as possible.
The bigger the sadness that we will alchemize,
The better,
But not something that will overwhelm us today.
So big enough.
When you come to chew on something,
Chew on something that has some flesh there.
But something that you can still chew.
And then we will go layer by layer.
We will identify from the sadness you remember,
The longing and the despair.
We'll note what's the longing,
Just shortly also what's the despair.
And then we will go layer by layer.
I feel this longing.
Why?
I am sad because I miss this person.
And I have in that,
Obviously,
The longing is the longing for that person.
And underneath or in that there is a despair,
Maybe I don't see them so soon.
And in that longing,
Then we go deeper.
Why do I long for that person?
Well,
I long for that particular state of love and so forth.
And you will see that as we go through the layers,
We will go from longing to something external,
To longing to an inner state.
Because we always want outer things in order to have a particular inner state.
Everything from ice cream to love making to purpose and all that,
We want to have a certain inner state.
So as we go through the layers,
I long for this because of that,
I long for this because of that.
This is the source of the longing.
That longing will become less and less external and more and more internal.
And even as this gets internal,
Okay,
I want love,
As Blandine mentioned in her lecture.
Why do I want to experience that love?
Well,
There is that thing inside of me that wants love.
That thing.
Stay there.
So we go from inner,
We won't have everyone the same layers,
We will not go three layers or something.
We will go layer by layer until we find something inner.
And from the inner,
We will go to the innermost.
We will go a few layers into the inner.
And once we reach the innermost,
And I'll guide you,
For some people it will be after three layers,
For others after five or six or whatever.
But we'll give it some time.
And once you reach the innermost layer,
Stay there and feel the aspiration there.
And feel the hope that appears in that aspiration.
That is somehow imminent.
You know,
It's like,
It's a hunger which is also a restaurant.
It's a phone but it's also a music player and an internet browser.
So you have already the restaurant in the hunger.
But you gotta dive deep enough.
You go from little hunger to bigger hunger to deeper hunger and sometimes the hunger almost hurts,
Sometimes actually hurts.
And then if you go through all these hungers,
All that longing,
You find the hunger which is hunger and food at once.
Which is a cry of longing and a cry of hope.
Which is fulfillment and as if a lack.
There we will stay.
And there we will take just a touch because we don't have so much time.
Just a touch.
We will have three minutes with godly aspiration to somehow fuse and crystallize that.
You can write down.
It's not a must but it's possible.
If you want to write down,
You can.
And then you can take whatever you write down with.
It can be the same thing that you see me with.
You can also write down on it.
It can also be a piece of paper and pen.
And we will prepare and interiorize.
And we will set an intention.
I wish I want and I choose.
I intend to dive deep layer by layer with sincerity and courage to the core of my longing.
To the very essence of all my longing.
This is my intention and prayer.
In front of the Supreme.
And with this conviction and verticality and firmness,
Let's evoke very sincerely something that we actually feel sad about.
As if you tell it very sincerely to a dear intimate friend.
Begin.
And as you are evoking this and as if sharing with a friend that which you feel really sad about,
Feel what happens in the body.
How does it vibrate this sadness?
What do you long for?
Is there also some despair there?
You can note down what you long for and check if there is some lack of hope.
And then in the midst of that,
Underneath that which you long for that makes you sad.
Why do you long for that?
What's under that?
And from there go another layer.
Why do you long for that?
Going from the outer to the inner up to the innermost.
Taking a little bit of time in every layer.
Thirty seconds,
One minute just to feel that layer,
To let it manifest fully and then deeper.
Okay.
Another layer.
And when you reach the innermost,
Feel the imminent hope in it.
How the longing itself is filling and fulfilling.
If you haven't reached the innermost,
Go deeper.
Okay.
And when you reach that innermost,
Let it manifest fully.
Let this innermost longing manifest and see how it's longing and yearning and feeding in the same time.
The longing for fulfillment and fulfillment itself.
And in this burning state,
We will put the music of godly aspiration and try to feel that longing is not just yours.
It's the longing of all things.
It's the longing of all eternity of everything.
And feel that,
Not the human aspiration,
But the godly aspiration.
We begin.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
We become aware of the effect and this communion with this very deep feeling of longing and godly aspiration.
And that's very good.
And gradually return.
If you want to stay interiorized,
Stay interiorized,
Don't return.
And those who wish you can come back.
