Everyone

This gentle trauma-sensitive mindfulness practice offers supportive present moment anchors to help steady attention and reconnect with the body with greater safety and choice. Rooted in MBSR principles and informed by trauma-sensitive mindfulness approaches, this practice invites you to work with breath, sound, sensation, visual anchors, and grounding through the body in a flexible and compassionate way. Rather than forcing attention, you are encouraged to notice what feels supportive and available moment to moment. This practice may be especially supportive for people experiencing stress, overwhelm, emotional exhaustion, anxiety, nervous system activation, or difficulty settling the mind. Led by Lynne Protain, Registered Psychotherapist, Certified Mindfulness and MBSR Teacher.
