Namaste,
Welcome to this practice.
Today's meditation will be focused on training your mind to release worry and anxiety.
It's time to find peace and ground yourself.
Worry and anxiety take over us when we identify with anxious thoughts as if they were real.
We create imaginary scenarios about future situations that might happen,
But the truth is that we don't know if they are going to come true.
The habit of creating anxious thoughts is developed by repetition over time.
The more we repeat these thoughts,
The more we believe in them and the more difficult it is to break this pattern.
But when we understand how this pattern works,
We are less affected by the stories that our minds create.
I invite you to start your practice by finding a position that brings you relaxation and gently close your eyes.
Easily breathe in and out,
Looking for a comfortable rhythm of your breath.
Let your shoulders completely relax as well as your neck,
Arms and legs.
Breathe in tranquility and breathe out,
Releasing any tension in your body.
Breathe in peace and breathe out worry.
You can softly repeat to yourself,
May I be at ease?
May I be at peace?
May I be completely relaxed?
You can feel that you are breathing slower as you are completely surrendered to this peaceful moment.
From this relaxed state of mind,
Bring your full attention to whatever it is that is keeping you anxious recently.
It can be related to work,
Relationships,
Health or maybe your financial life.
Whatever it is that has been asking for your attention,
Welcome it with an open heart.
You are conscious of this decision.
Let your thoughts come and go with ease,
Without getting caught up in the stories they tell.
Everything is fine.
You are completely safe.
You are a silent witness that observes without attachment to whatever your mind creates.
There is no need to react or judge your thoughts.
After paying attention to the scenarios that came up in your mind,
It's time to choose which thoughts to believe in.
You have this power.
Maybe this moment of awareness brings a sense of clarity and you can see possible solutions to this matter.
Allow your inner wisdom to guide you to what is really going on.
With this attitude of kindness towards yourself,
Continue to breathe comfortably in and out,
Letting peace take over you.
In the future,
If your mind tries to pull you back to the pattern of anxiety,
Please don't fight with your mind.
Be gentle with yourself,
Even in challenging moments.
Let your anxious thoughts come and go freely,
Like the clouds in the sky.
Let them come,
Let them be,
And let them go.
Your practice is coming to an end,
I hope you feel more grounded.
You can open your eyes and come back to your day with a fresh perspective to deal with anxiety.
In peace,
Dear one,
Take care.
