Welcome to this excerpt from the seventh audio of Ingredients for Awakening.

I am Luis Marquez.

In this session we will focus on a crucial ingredient for our spiritual evolution.

Your vocation,

Your calling is your internal compass,

Which guides you on the most appropriate path so that you can be fruitful in your spiritual purpose.

That is to say,

In our most encompassing vocation,

Awakening.

When you are applying yourself to your destiny,

Your gifts express themselves.

You start to bloom.

In this way you are offering a unique personal contribution.

You also generate beauty and harmony through your work.

Feelings of satisfaction,

Creativity and openness accompany you.

When you embrace your vocation,

The differences between the personal and the professional fade away,

As can the differences between the personal and the divine.

This effort may involve swimming against the false sense of security and control that has been instilled in us,

And of which our well-meaning family and friends tend to remind us.

After all,

We talk about a mission,

About duty,

An assignment.

It is not for our exclusive benefit,

Not so we can boast about our success,

Since everything has been given to us but to serve the unity,

To devote our talents to the greater good.

Let's slow down.

Try to visualize yourself performing your daily task in a bright,

Spacious,

Pleasant place.

It does not matter if you do not know exactly what you are doing,

Or what kind of space your work requires.

Simply connect with a pleasant feeling towards your work.

You are doing a service that is consistent with your values.

Your occupation generates joy and finesse.

The necessary resources follow one another.

The path is already marked.

You just have to let yourself go.
