Hey,

And trust me,
As someone who has struggled with insomnia for over a decade,
I know how annoying that can be.
But this video will help you to feel calm,
To release any stress,
And to relax into an enjoyable sleep.
So it's important that right now you are comfortable,
Make sure that you are warm enough,
And make sure that your room is dark.
So if you are using your phone for this right now,
Then make sure that you turn it over so that the light isn't shining.
And I would also personally suggest clicking the do not disturb button so that your sleep is not interrupted.
Now,
In this comfortable position,
Take a moment to clear your mind.
You may notice thoughts coming to the front of your mind,
Questions,
Theories,
Ideas.
Whatever you are thinking about is not important right now.
And I know it's sometimes hard to believe,
But really,
None of these thoughts are worth you having even no sleep or disrupted sleep.
So just let go of these words,
This noise in your mind.
And one way that you can let go of this noise is by focusing on your breathing.
If you take a deep breath in,
And notice the air flowing in and out as you breathe out,
Focus on these deep breaths.
Take five deep breaths right now at whatever pace is comfortable for you,
And notice as the air flows in through your nose and out through your mouth.
And then,
Take a deep breath in.
And then,
Take a deep breath out.
And then,
Take a deep breath in.
Now,
As I'm talking,
I will begin to talk slower and slower,
And become more and more quiet to allow your mind to switch off.
So for now,
Just listen to my voice as I remind you to relax.
Allow your body to relax.
Give your body permission to fully relax.
As this is time for you to sleep,
You can let go of any stress right now and just breathe slowly.
Notice the rhythm of your body with every breath you take.
Notice the rise and fall in your chest.
Notice the rise and fall in your stomach as you breathe in and out.
Breathing in and out.
Feel the relaxation begin to flow into your body,
Down through your neck and shoulders,
All the way through your arms to your hands and your fingers.
You are feeling relaxed.
Your neck and shoulders are so relaxed.
Your arms,
Hands and fingers are so relaxed.
The relaxation is flowing down through your chest and stomach,
All the way through your hips and thighs.
Feeling fully relaxed as the relaxation travels down your body.
Softly flowing down your legs,
Into your feet and your toes.
Your legs,
Your feet and toes are feeling relaxed.
Every muscle is calm.
Every part of your body is calm.
Notice how this calm feeling fills in your body.
Notice how relaxed you feel from your head to your chest.
Your head all the way down to your toes.
There is so much peace within you.
Allowing your mind to be peaceful too.
Allowing you to fall asleep.
Keep this relaxed feeling within you and feel any stress leaving your body.
Now that you are so full of peace,
The stress is floating away,
Leaving your body in this calm position.
Keep breathing slowly,
Just experiencing how calm this deep breathing can make you feel from your head to your toes.
Feeling so relaxed.
Allowing your body to be calm and peaceful.
Let your mind and body fall into a deep sleep.
A deep relaxing sleep.
Nothing matters right now.
All that matters is you being able to fall asleep in a comfortable position full of relaxation.
