Good morning.

Let's start this day in a clear and purposeful way.

So we do that with how we align ourselves in our meditation.

So whether you're sitting or on a cushion,

On a chair,

See if you can begin by lifting your waist away from your hips.

Notice how that kind of finds a little lift through the upper chest.

Find a similar upwards lift through the upper jaw and then move your ears back in space.

Make sure that lower chin is parallel to the floor.

We're going to actually start this morning with some shoulder rolls.

So begin to roll your shoulders forward and then roll them backwards.

And then when you feel complete,

Just allow your shoulder blades to relax down the back like they're a waterfall that's falling down your back.

And then close the eyes if you haven't already.

Start to soften the brow,

Soften the eyelids.

You feel like your eyes are moving in towards the sockets.

And begin this morning by noticing your body.

So noticing where your body touches the floor,

Whether it's on the cushion or whether it's your feet on the floor.

Noticing the sit bones rooted in your chair.

And bringing to notice any part of your body that might ache from a restful or maybe not so restful night's sleep.

And starting to invite the breath in to those parts of your body.

Or just starting to notice where the breath finds you this morning.

Maybe you can even consciously,

Because it's early,

Start to take a little deeper of an inhale and allow the exhale to follow.

Noticing if maybe that deepening of the breath coming in helps to lift,

Helps to awaken the mind,

Awaken the spirit for the day.

And after you've taken a few conscious breaths,

Just see if you can release the need to focus on your breath or to intentionally breathe and just notice the feeling of the breath moving in and out through the nose in its natural easy rhythm.

Eckhart Tolle has a quote.

He says,

Gratitude is the foundation for all abundance.

Gratitude is the foundation for all abundance.

And that doesn't just mean abundance in finances.

It means abundance in our emotions,

It means abundance in our health,

Abundance in our relationships,

In our joy.

Because as we start to notice the things that we do have,

We expand that consciousness outwards.

And we tend to see more of that within our life,

Whatever it is.

So I'd like you now to move that breath.

Just bring the focus to your heart center.

And noticing if you can start to feel the heart beat.

And I invite you if you'd like,

You can either keep your hands resting where they are.

Or if you'd like to bring this a little more inwards and place the palms covering your chest,

Covering your heart.

Allow the shoulder blades to drop even a little more.

And start to first just take some thanks for the heartbeat and what it allows you to do,

How it's allowed you to wake up,

How it works for you,

Even when you're sleeping.

You don't even have to think about it.

Maybe taking a few breaths,

Feeling the beat of your heart.

I'd like you to bring to mind a moment in your life,

In the past that you can send gratitude to,

That you can be truly grateful for.

Maybe this heart has allowed you to see,

Allowed you to experience.

Maybe it was the birth of a child.

Maybe it was an accomplishment at work.

Maybe it was just a smaller moment.

Maybe it was a deeper moment than a moment of awakening.

Whatever it is,

If you can just go there for the next minute,

If you can go there and breathe in all of the feelings,

Smell the smells,

And sense the surroundings.

Slowly start to come back into this moment.

Maybe thank your heart one last time for allowing you to experience whatever beautiful moment that was.

And now I'd like you to think of one person in your life that you are truly grateful for,

That supports you,

That loves you,

That you love.

Just bring to mind maybe what this person brings to your life,

Represents.

You can see this person in your mind's eye.

Just breathe in whatever love and gratitude that you have for them.

Now back to your heart,

Back to the heartbeat.

Now I'd like us to look forward to our day and see if we can project some gratitude onto it.

So maybe you know something that's coming up today or someone you're going to see or maybe you'd just like to visualize something good that happens today.

You have a presentation that you have to give.

And I'd like us to just think about thanks and gratitude for all of the beautiful experiences that we have coming up.

Whatever life brings to us,

Whatever good it brings to us,

Let's focus on something that we can be thankful for,

For something that we visualize will come to us today.

And if you can't think of anything for today,

You're welcome to maybe find another little moment in your life that you can be grateful for.

And finally start to come back to the heartbeat.

You can release your hands if you've had them on your chest.

Find a few more moments of just following the breath in and breath out,

Releasing all of the gratitude allowing it to just kind of stir and integrate within your body,

Integrate within your aura and what is kind of coming in your field today.

And as we kind of came into it,

Maybe start to invite some movement into the shoulders,

Opening up the heart a little bit more,

Getting it ready to embrace and love each moment of this day.

And when you feel complete,

You can gently lift the eyes and come back to your room.

May you have such an abundant day in every way possible.

It's been my honor to guide you.

Namaste.
