You are listening to the Motherhood Unstressed podcast and I'm your host Liz Carlisle.
Thank you so much for tuning into this meditation,
For taking the time to get centered,
To connect with who you really are,
To go beneath the surface level thoughts,
Reactions,
Perceptions,
Go deeper and I recognize that desire in you to take the time required just by getting quiet and pressing play.
So let's get settled.
Close your eyes,
Start taking deeper breaths in through your nose and out through your nose.
Expand your diaphragm,
Release your shoulders away from your ears.
With every breath settle in deeper and deeper into the meditation,
Into the void and as you slip further and further down,
Feel lightning happening.
Feel the connection that starts to creep in.
You start to realize that you're not your thoughts or even your personality.
You,
The real you,
Are the observer of those thoughts and with every breath you separate yourself from the egoic me and you start to truly see and understand and that release is like letting go of a cork that you've been holding underneath the water.
You can't help but raise your vibration up,
Fully embody who you are like you did when you were a child.
Without self judgment,
Without derision,
You can just be you in the here and now.
So keep breathing and I want you to visualize the most beautiful place that you can imagine.
Are you at the beach?
Are you in your dream home?
Are you in the mountains?
What's happening with the weather outside?
Do you feel the wind on your skin?
Do you feel and hear heat of a crackling fire?
Where are you?
What are you doing?
Rest in that visualization.
Keep breathing and just feel your body relax even deeper as you settle and let go of everything that doesn't serve you.
Let your cork rise to the top and be free.
After a minute or two I'll bring you back to close out the practice.
You you you Come back into your body now.
Wiggle your fingers and toes.
Let your eyes open.
Notice the difference that you feel now compared to when you first started the meditation.
Understand that you have access to this sense of peace and calm purity just by focusing on your breath,
Closing your eyes and calming the thoughts.
Thank you for doing the work.
Until next week,
Namaste.
