You are listening to the Motherhood Unstressed Podcast,

And I'm your host,

Liz Carlyle.

Thank you so much for tuning in to another guided meditation,

For taking the time to sit still,

To go inward,

To meet yourself where you are,

And to know who you really are without any distraction.

So begin to elongate your breathing,

And whether you're sitting in a lotus position or just lying flat on your back in bed,

Begin to draw in your breath,

Expanding your lungs.

Imagine as you do that you're bringing in a cleansing light that washes over every cell of your body,

Finds any toxicity,

Washes it away as you breathe out,

Eliminating all destructive patterns and processes,

Protective mechanisms that you might have been holding onto,

But that you no longer need.

Your breath is life.

Use it to renew yourself,

To renew your mind,

Your body,

And your soul.

As you continue to breathe,

Feel your body relax,

Feel your neck elongate,

Your shoulders drop,

Your arms relax,

Your elbows,

Your wrists.

Feel energy flowing to your fingertips and your palms.

Notice the power that you've always had,

But that was diminished by the activity of your mind.

Bring your attention to the back of your neck,

And with every breath,

Scan down vertebrae by vertebrae.

This cleansing,

Healing breath,

This light,

Bring it down all the way into your root chakra.

Expand your hips,

Releasing any trauma.

Tell yourself right now that you are safe.

Feel your body relax in that knowing.

Take your attention down your legs,

Releasing tension,

Tightness,

Down to your knees,

Your shins,

Your calves,

And ankles,

Removing any blockages,

Any sources of tension,

Anything foreign you don't need in your cleansed body.

Finish this scan by going all the way to the tips of your toes,

And that same energy you felt in your palms,

Feel it circulating the bottoms of your feet.

And now with your breath,

Draw your attention from your toes all the way up,

Up your spine to the base of your skull,

And encircle your head with light and energy.

And with the next few breaths,

Expand your energy outside of your body so that your field is around your body,

And moving full into the room.

Feel your own power,

Your own energetic field.

And as you keep breathing,

Push that positivity and that light that is you outward.

Envision the people that you love,

Wrap them in your positive energy field.

And as you do know that you are healing them,

Push it out even further to your neighborhood,

To neighbors that you see.

You may not know who they are,

But you know their face.

Envelop them in your loving energy as well.

Push it out further to people that you work with,

Maybe all over the world,

Envelop them,

Push it up further,

Push it up further to people in your city,

You don't even know or interact with,

Who exist with you at this time and place in history.

Envelop them with your love,

Push it out even further to your country,

Push it out to the oceans,

Envelop the whales and the fish and the sharks,

All of the creatures in the sea.

Let them feel your love.

Know that humanity,

With all its destruction,

Is still mostly love and that you are part of that.

And you are sending them your positive energy.

Feel it in your heart and understand that as you give,

You receive this love back tenfold.

Meditate on how you feel right now,

On who you're seeing,

On who you're touching.

And when it's time to reel back your energy field,

I'll let you know.

If you're ready,

Begin to draw back your field from the oceans.

Envision the animals,

The creatures in the deep that you just positively impacted.

Though you may never lay eyes on them,

There was an energy exchange that just happened.

Bring it back to your country,

Bring it back to your city,

To the people that you did envision,

That you do know.

Wash over them one more time as you bring back your energy.

Bring it back to your neighborhood,

Washing over your neighbors,

Sending them love.

Come back to your room.

See yourself in stillness.

Send love to yourself right now.

See your hair,

Your clothes,

Your hands and feet.

Envision your heart beating within your body.

Send gratitude for your loving heart,

Your spirit that's connected to the divine,

That is divine energy.

And as this greater awareness,

Witnessing yourself in this human form,

Bring your energy back into your earthly body.

And again,

Feel your hands and your feet as you come back.

Feel your breath.

You can flutter your eyes open now.

Do some gentle neck rolls.

Deepen your breathing.

Deepen your breathing.

And just notice for a few moments how you feel.

Do you sense more lightness within you?

More peace?

Don't be surprised if some of the people that you just envisioned reach out to you today or tomorrow.
