Tonight we are going on a road trip.
We will be driving to a special place in the mountains that will give you relaxed and sweet sleep.
Imagine this.
You are sitting in the core of your dreams.
The seat is the perfect softness.
The air in the core the perfect temperature.
You have the snacks and drinks you love in a little tray right by you.
Soft music plays softly and the sun is shining but it doesn't hurt your eyes.
You sit back and take in the view.
You are driving in a slightly hilly landscape.
The grass is green and has many flowers scattered all over.
You breathe in the cool air deeply and enjoy the flowers when you see a group of horses slowly pass by.
Some of the horses are brown.
One is black and one horse is bright white with grey spots all over.
It seems to know you are looking at it because it turns its head and looks at you in the eyes.
Its eyes are deep black and so friendly.
Even from the car you can see its long eyelashes blink friendly at you.
You smile as you gently pass the group.
A little pond passes in the view.
Some ducks are splashing in the water and having fun playing in the sun.
It reminds you of the times you play in the sprinklers with your friends when the sun is hot and popsicles are the only way to cool down.
It is always so much fun.
The ducks must feel like that too.
The car buzzes farther.
The gentle constant sound of the engine makes you feel a little sleepy.
You yawn a big yawn.
A group of cows appear.
They are standing around a big bin with food.
Their tails sweep back and forth as they munch on their food.
They look a little silly all bunched together trying to eat all at the same time.
It makes you smile.
A little further ahead is a small shed.
A black and white sheep jumps out of the shed.
It startles you.
You laugh.
It seems like the sheep tried to scare you on purpose.
It hops around in the green meadow as you drive past.
The hills are slowly growing taller and the sun is slowly moving down losing some of its sparkle.
Clouds gently drift by.
They change shapes slowly showing you different shapes every time.
It's like a game trying to figure out what they are trying to show you.
You love the mountains.
The air is so crisp and makes your eyes sleepy and heavy.
A beautiful big bird floats in the air above.
It circles in big circles over a pointy mountains.
It will flap its wings a few times and then gently float further.
It looks so effortless.
You think just how that would make you feel so good to float like that.
The mountains are high now and the trees line the road.
They float by one after another.
Endless rows of trees float by.
Your eyes are starting to feel heavy as you watch the trees zip by.
The sun has set now and like magic little sparkly dots start appearing in the dark sky.
Star after star seems to pop up in the dark blue air above.
As the road turns you see the big moon above a particularly pretty woodland area.
An owl flies over the pretty trees and you see a small deer run into the woods.
You know you are close.
You are almost at the cabin where you always have the best sleeps.
The most awesome dreams and get to sleep in the most comfortable bed you have ever felt.
The road goes up and down slowly.
You know it's just a few more turns before the car makes a sharper turn onto the soft mossy path in the woods.
As soon as the car drives into the woods it seems like all sounds disappear.
There's just calm and quiet.
The rustling of the trees sounds like a lullaby gently whispering to you.
You roll your window down and take a deep breath of the crispy woody air.
You love this place more than anything.
When you pull up to the cabin in the open area in the woods you see a few bunnies hurry away.
You know they will be eating berries in the woods soon.
They love those and you smile.
Tomorrow you will visit them in your special spot and you will cuddle them gently.
They are your special friends.
In the cabin a fire is burning in the fireplace.
It makes the cabin smell so good and it feels so nice and cozy.
You hurry into your bedroom.
You are wearing your most favorite pajamas already and climb into the cozy bed.
The room is so perfect.
Not too cold,
Not too dark and nice and quiet.
You lay your head down on the soft cozy bed and yawn the biggest yawn.
You feel the soft blankets cuddle you.
Everything is so perfect.
Your eyes automatically close.
You kind of feel somebody tuck you in and give you a soft kiss on your head but you're already drifting off to a sweet sleep.
You have lots to do tomorrow in the woods and so many great dreams to dream tonight.
