Okay now,

Taking a few minutes to relax and recharge.

You can do this lying down or sitting in a chair.

Just let your body be symmetrical.

I'll be guiding you in what's sometimes called a rotation of awareness,

Which means to simply place your attention,

Your awareness,

At each part of your body,

Just sensing your feeling to the best of your ability in a smooth flow without efforting,

Just nothing to try or to make happen.

Just follow the sound of my voice as I guide you through your body.

So beginning at your right hand,

Sensing,

Feeling your right hand,

Then the right hand thumb,

Index finger,

Middle finger,

Ring finger,

Middle finger,

All the fingers of the right hand together,

Palm,

Back of the right hand,

Wrist,

Forearm,

Elbow,

Upper arm,

Right shoulder,

Armpit,

Right side of the waist,

Right hip,

Right thigh,

Knee,

Calf,

Ankle,

Heel,

Sole,

Top of the right foot,

Big toe,

Second toe,

Third toe,

Fourth toe,

Fifth toe,

All the toes of the right foot together.

Now the left hand,

Left hand thumb,

Thank you. I love yoga nidra/body scans. It's hard to find mini sessions that are good. And this one is perfect for a five minute session for on the go, I dig it, only thing I would change about it is... it really could use like an ending bell to know you're done. Cuz obviously if you're doing only a five minute yoga nidra session you probably don't have all this time in the world. And it's real easy to fall asleep when your body is that relaxed. Ya know?
