And so just taking some time now,

Letting your body settle and finding that most comfortable place for every part of your body so you can just settle down into it and let yourself go.

Just as deeply as you like,

As deeply as you need.

We're going to be working with a technique called ultra depth,

Going very down deep.

And now take a deep breath and fill your lungs up completely.

Once your lungs are full,

Let that breath out slowly through your mouth.

And take another deep breath,

Once again filling your lungs up completely.

And then let that breath out slowly through your mouth.

And when you're ready,

One more very deep breath,

Filling your lower and upper lungs,

Holding it a moment when you're full,

Holding the breath.

And now let that breath out very slowly.

That's right.

And already your body is just beginning to relax.

Now just let that wonderful,

Comfortable feeling of relaxation flow all the way down to your feet.

Feel your feet becoming very comfortable and very relaxed.

Even if you don't feel that in your feet right away,

That's fine.

For the feeling of relaxation will gradually come over you.

And now let that wonderful,

Comfortable feeling of relaxation flow from your feet right up into your ankles.

From your ankles flowing up all the large and small muscles of the calves and into the knees.

From your knees flowing up into all the large muscles and small muscles of your thighs.

Into your hips.

From the hips into the abdomen.

And with each and every breath that you exhale,

Allow your body to relax much more into this wonderful,

Comfortable,

Relaxed state.

And now let this wonderful feeling of relaxation flow right on up into your back.

Just let all those large and small muscles of the back relax.

And it flows up into your shoulders.

Over your shoulders.

And down deep into your chest.

Such a wonderful,

Beautiful feeling.

As it flows down all the large and small muscles of the arms.

The elbows.

Down to your wrists.

Down to your hands.

And all the way out to the very tips of your fingers.

That's right.

And with each and every breath that you exhale,

You can feel the muscles in your body relaxing more and more into this wonderful,

Comfortable,

Relaxed state.

And now let this beautiful feeling of relaxation flow right up into your neck.

Just feel all the large and small muscles of your neck relaxing.

As it flows up into your head.

Over your head.

And down into your brow.

All the muscles around your eyes relax.

All the muscles of your eyes relax.

All the muscles of your cheeks relax.

All the muscles of your chin relax.

And if you have your teeth clenched,

Just unclench your teeth and all your body will relax much more.

Let your jaw relax and all of your body muscles will go loose and limp.

That's right.

As you keep going deeper and deeper into this wonderful,

Relaxed state.

Where you have pleasant,

Contented thoughts going through your mind.

And wonderful,

Marvelous feelings flowing all through your whole body.

And you just keep on going deeper and deeper as all the sounds around you keep you going deeper.

Any sound that you may hear will send you even deeper.

The sound of my voice guides you deeper.

And so as I keep on talking,

You keep on relaxing.

Deeper and deeper into this beautiful state of relaxation.

And as your mind relaxes,

Your body relaxes.

And with each and every breath you exhale,

Your body relaxes even deeper.

The beat of your heart keeps you going deeper.

With any thought you think,

You go deeper.

Any sensation that you experience will allow you to move even deeper into this wonderful,

Comfortable,

Relaxed state.

So allow your mind to guide you deeper.

And as I count from one down to three,

Allow all the muscles in your body to relax even deeper with each and every number that I say.

One.

Going deeper and deeper.

Two.

Going loose and limp.

Three.

You're going very deep and comfortable.

Your whole body is letting go,

Becoming loose and limp as you continue to relax even more.

And now all of your organs are functioning perfectly.

All your glands are functioning perfectly.

All your body tissues are rejuvenating in this wonderful,

Comfortable,

Relaxed state.

You now have complete control of all the nerves in your body.

Complete control of your whole nervous system.

Your blood flows freely throughout your body,

Carrying fresh new oxygen to all parts of your body.

To every single part,

Every cell of you.

As your blood pressure remains normal and steady.

And your body keeps on relaxing deeper and deeper into this beautiful state.

Feel your muscles going even more loose and limp.

Feel your nerves becoming calm.

Your mind becoming passive and clear.

Allow your mind to guide you deeper and deeper into this beautiful,

Relaxed and comfortable state.

And as I count again,

And this time I will count from one down to five.

And with each and every number I say,

You will drift deeper.

And by the time that I say five,

You will have doubled the relaxation you now have throughout your whole body.

And as your body relaxes,

Your mind will relax.

One.

Your relaxation is starting to double.

Two.

Relaxation is doubling more and more.

Three.

You are becoming very comfortable and relaxed.

Four.

Relaxation has almost doubled.

Five.

Relaxation has doubled completely now throughout your whole body.

That's right.

And you feel wonderful,

Relaxed,

And you keep going deeper with each breath you exhale.

Feel the muscles loose and limp.

Feel the nerves calm.

Your mind passive and clear.

Feel your organs functioning perfectly.

Your glands functioning perfectly.

Feel your body tissues rejuvenating in this relaxed state as you go deeper and deeper.

And you will continue to go deeper,

Much deeper.

So again,

I will count from one down to five.

And with each and every number I say,

You will allow your body to relax down deeper.

And your mind will relax as your body is relaxed.

And by the time I say five,

Your body will have tripled its relaxation.

One.

Relaxation is starting to triple.

Two.

Your mind is relaxed.

Your body is so relaxed.

Three.

Feeling very deep and comfortable.

Four.

You feel so relaxed.

Five.

That's right.

Your relaxation has now tripled completely throughout your entire body.

You feel wonderful as I guide you deeper into this beautiful,

Relaxed state where your mind and body are now working together in perfect balance.

Feel your muscles loose and limp.

Feel your nerves calm.

Feel your tissues rejuvenating.

Feel your blood flowing freely,

Carrying fresh new oxygen to all parts of your body.

Your mind is passive and clear.

Allow your mind to guide you deeper into this very deep and relaxed state.

And you find now that you feel so good,

So comfortable.

And all you care about is how good you feel,

How relaxed you feel as you go deeper.

So deep that your whole body has taken on a wonderful,

Comfortable,

Heavy feeling.

Your arms and legs feel so heavy,

So comfortable,

And so relaxed.

That when I ask you to lift an arm or a leg,

You won't feel like lifting an arm or a leg.

Because your arms and legs feel so very heavy,

So very comfortable,

And so very relaxed.

That you don't care to lift your arms or your legs because you are so relaxed that you don't feel like moving any parts of your body.

Nevertheless I'd like you to try to lift your left leg.

That's fine.

Now stop trying and let that leg relax even more.

And you find that your right leg feels just as heavy,

Just as comfortable as your left leg.

And I'd like you to try to lift your right leg now.

Fine,

Stop trying now and let your leg relax.

Now you find that same wonderful,

Comfortable,

Heavy feeling in your arms.

For your arms feel so very heavy,

So very comfortable,

And so very relaxed.

Nevertheless I'd like you to just try to lift your right arm.

And stop trying now,

That's fine.

Letting your arm relax even more.

It feels so much better to let it relax right where it is.

Now you find that your left arm is just as heavy,

Just as comfortable as your right arm.

And I'd like you to try to lift your left arm.

Fine,

Stop trying now and let your whole body relax even more.

As you drift deeper and deeper down into this wonderful,

Beautiful,

Relaxed state.

And now there is an even deeper state of relaxation for you to enjoy.

And you are experiencing right now a much deeper level.

And to reach this deeper level of relaxation you must go down three floors.

We will call them floor A,

Floor B,

And floor C.

Now to reach down to A you just double the present state of relaxation that you are now experiencing.

And once you have doubled it,

Say the letter A out loud very plainly,

It only takes a few moments.

That's right.

And now you will go down to floor B.

To reach floor B you must go twice as deep as you did for floor A.

So double your relaxation again and then try to say B.

And if you have truly doubled your relaxation you may find it very difficult to move your lips to form the letter B.

Again it will only take a few moments.

That's right.

And now really going down deeper into relaxation this time,

Letting go completely.

Going down now to floor C.

And to reach floor C you must go twice as deep as you did for floor B.

So now double your relaxation one more time.

Once you have doubled it and you are sure that it is doubled,

I want you to try your utmost to say the letter C.

And if you have truly doubled your relaxation you will find that you won't be able to move your lips to say C.

It will just take a few moments.

That's right.

Deeper and deeper relaxed.

Deeper much deeper.

Down,

Down,

Down.

Down,

Down,

Down.

Down,

Down,

Down.

Letting go,

Loose and limb.

As you drift through this wonderful,

Relaxed state.

Going deeper with each breath you exhale.

And now I am going to count from one down to ten.

With each number that I say,

As your body relaxes,

Your mind will relax.

And with each and every number I say,

Your body will double its relaxation that it has at that time.

One.

Your mind relaxes as your body relaxes.

And your body doubles the relaxation that it has at this very moment.

Two.

Your mind relaxes as your body relaxes.

And again your body doubles its relaxation.

Three.

Your mind relaxes.

Four.

As your body relaxes.

Five.

Another step down into relaxation.

As your body again doubles its relaxation.

Six.

Doubling.

Seven.

Going deeper.

Eight.

Down.

Nine.

Ten.

That's right.

Your mind has relaxed as your body has relaxed.

And your body has doubled its relaxation many times over.

So good.

So comfortable.

And so relaxed.

Your mind is satisfied.

Clear.

Your nerves are calm.

And you feel wonderful.

And I will guide you even deeper.

So again.

I will count from one down to ten.

And you will allow your body to triple the relaxation it has with each and every number that I say.

And as your body relaxes.

Your mind will relax.

And your body will triple the relaxation it has with each and every number I say.

One.

Your mind is relaxed as your body is relaxed.

And your body is tripling the relaxation it has at this very moment.

Two.

Conscious mind is relaxed as the body is relaxed.

And the body again triples the relaxation it has at this time.

Three.

Conscious mind is relaxed as the body is relaxed.

And the body triples the relaxation it has at this time.

Four.

The same thing.

Just keep going right on down.

Five.

Six.

Seven.

Eight.

Nine.

Ten.

Eleven.

Twelve.

Thirteen.

Four.

Five.

Six.

That's right.

Conscious mind completely relaxed as the body has tripled the relaxation many times over.

And you feel so relaxed that you just keep right on drifting deeper as you allow your mind to guide you deeper and deeper into this wonderful relaxed state.

But you can go much deeper than you are right now.

So once again I count down from one to ten.

And this time you allow your body to go ten times deeper with each and every count.

And your mind will relax as your body is relaxed.

And your body will relax ten times deeper with each number that I say.

One.

Your mind is relaxed as your body is relaxed.

And your body is relaxing ten times deeper.

Two.

Conscious mind is relaxed as your body is relaxed.

And your body sinks down another ten times deeper relaxed.

Three.

Mind is relaxed as the body is relaxed.

And your body is floating down another more ten times deeper.

Four.

Conscious mind is relaxed as the body is relaxed.

And the body drifts still down another ten times deeper.

Five.

Down.

Down.

Six.

Seven.

Eight.

Nine.

Ten.

Your mind is completely relaxed as the body is completely relaxed.

Deeper and deeper.

Just keeping on going down into this wonderful,

Beautiful,

Safe,

Relaxed state.

That's right.

And again,

There is even a deeper level of relaxation.

Than what you are now experiencing.

It is a state of relaxation that you have been entering since you were born.

So it is nothing new to you.

In this state,

The body can repair itself even faster than when you are in deep sleep.

And you are very familiar with this state,

Even though you may not recognize it.

You are extremely safe in this state.

You are safe.

For your subconscious mind is totally aware of your surroundings.

You usually enter this relaxed state as you are sleeping,

Just before or after you dream.

And for you to reach this deeper level of relaxation,

I must ask you for the assistance and cooperation of your subconscious mind.

Please allow your subconscious mind to help you reach the relaxation of infancy.

Achieving the relaxation of infancy is for your highest good and greatly benefits you.

So,

As I count down from one down to ten,

With each count you deepen so much that when I reach ten,

You will have reached the relaxation of infancy.

Going deeper than you ever have before.

One.

Going deeper than you ever have before.

Two.

Going down to the relaxation of infancy.

Three.

Going deeper than ever before.

Four.

Into the relaxation of infancy.

Five.

Deeper down.

Six.

Into the relaxation of infancy.

Seven.

Even deeper than before.

Eight.

All the way down.

Into the relaxation of infancy.

Nine.

Deeper down.

Ten.

The relaxation of infancy.

And you just keep on relaxing down into the relaxation of infancy.

Okay, I’ll be honest here and admit that I fell asleep, probably 10 minutes in but that made me so happy! Before this meditation I was restless, getting in and out of bed, doing work, making music, reading and what have you, while I was actually exhausted. This gave me a few hours of sleep and not because it bored me - it was very pleasant and well worth five stars for me!
