Lisa Hands

Lisa Hands' yoga journey began at the age of 18 and has been a constant presence in her life ever since. After many years of practice and a desire to deepen her knowledge and practice, she pursued teacher training and completed her Yoga Alliance 200-hour teacher training in 2016. Since completing her Hatha training, Lisa has also trained in Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra, and she is a qualified Gong practitioner. Lisa loves yoga and everything about it, and she is passionate about encouraging everyone who joins her on the mat to experience that same feeling. She invites others to dive into this wondrous discipline with its myriad benefits and encourages kindness and gentleness towards oneself. Lisa emphasizes listening to one's own body and breath to steady the mind, even amidst life's chaos. She believes that observing the breath is an amazing indicator of how we are feeling. Lisa is passionate about conveying how the mind, body, and spirit can be nourished, cherished, and loved through the magic of yoga, connection to the breath, grounding, spaciousness, and lightness. From rolling out the mat and unplugging from the day-to-day busyness of life to providing tools for everyday life both on and off the yoga mat, Lisa is dedicated to this practice. She is grateful to have learned from and been inspired by many wonderful teachers who have influenced her journey to where she is today.
