Hello beautiful being,
It's Linda here and today I'm bringing you what I consider to be some relief for the grief that you hold when someone,
A being,
A family member leaves earth,
Especially over the loss of a beloved companion animal.
They embed themselves so easily into our hearts and their lives are just not long enough but they shine so brightly,
Whether they've come to you as a little puppy or as a rehomed horse,
It doesn't matter,
They climb into your heart and when they leave there's a hole that needs to be healed.
So this meditation is about relaxing into the loss,
Relaxing into the feelings and with your heart seeing them more clearly.
I personally believe in different lives and so I look at the loss of my beautiful companion animals as moments to know that they're going on to their next journey,
Their next adventure.
Maybe that's with me,
Maybe that's not with me.
So just relax right now where you are.
You can use this meditation to go to sleep,
You can use it in a moment just where you need it,
You can use it to make you cry,
Use it however you need to use it to enable you to move through,
Understand,
Feel more balanced about the shifts in your world.
So in this moment if you're ready take a beautiful big in-breath and hold it in your heart and just let it leak out slowly.
Another big in-breath,
Hold it in your heart and let it leak out slowly.
On your next in-breath feel the love that you're breathing in from the universe,
There's love floating in the air.
Breathe it in and then as you breathe it out allow it to settle into your body,
Some extra love to bring light and shine back into some places that are darker.
And if you feel good just allow yourself now to relax.
On your next in-breath feel the love and as you exhale relax your body in different parts,
In different ways,
Allowing it to settle into where you're sitting or lying.
If you're moving around just allow the inside of your body to relax,
Lower the stress,
Allow it all just to fall into a more relaxed place.
And now I'm going to make some beautiful statements for us.
If one does not resonate with you just ignore it,
That's fine.
Just allow them to settle,
Don't quantify.
Allow them to create a recalibration in your system,
A new vibration.
So as I make the statements through this meditation we're going to be touching base on the connection that you shared with your companion animal or even with a human soul that's departed.
We're going to cover how that feels to you and how you're letting them go for the next part of their adventure and how you feel right now.
These statements might not be true in this moment but they will begin to become true as you allow the layers of grief to turn into love.
I honor the deep connection that we shared and I allow myself to feel the love that still flows between us.
In the silence of my heart I find comfort in our memories in the joyful moments together.
I release the pain of the loss of you and I embrace the peace that comes from knowing that you are free and you are at rest now.
I know your spirit remains with me,
It's a gentle presence and it continues to guide and love and comfort me.
I trust that our bond transcends this physical world and continues living on in the spiritual world.
I am so grateful for the time we shared and for the lessons of unconditional love that you taught me,
The spirit and the quirkiness of you.
In my grief I know I find the healing and knowing just knowing that love doesn't die.
I embrace the sorrow of your leaving as a full testament to the depth of our connection allowing it to transform into acceptance of our loss and knowing once again that you are free.
I release any guilt or regret knowing that I provided a life filled with love and care and light and happiness.
As I breathe deeply in meditation I feel your love surrounding me,
I feel your love as a reminder that you are forever in my heart.
I leave you with the music for a while gorgeous being,

It's time to come back now gorgeous being,
Come back to the here and now,
Feel your body once again,
Wriggle your toes,
Stretch your shoulders and bring yourself all the way back into your body.
Have a drink of water to hydrate,
We did a lot of work together and while I was recording the statements for us I was given a message to say out loud about carrying the love in the form of a crystal or something small that you can hold on your being to remind you of the love not the loss.
Maybe something that you can look at and see and if I can say out loud one thing that's helped me in my loss is to talk the stories with a partner or family or friend,
Talk the stories of the life that you lived together.
You might cry but it does help,
It helps to remember that those stories are still there,
They're always there,
They're memories that you hold in your heart.
