And welcome.
I'm Linda Hall.
Today I'd like to do a meditation on maintaining a positive mindset during uncertain times.
So take a few moments to get comfortable.
And crossing your arms and your legs.
And when you're ready.
Allow your eyes to close.
As you do so,
Come down into your body's weight at full length.
And the movements your body makes as you breathe.
Breathe out down the full length of your body.
Allowing your body to soften and release what it's brought with it here.
And no longer needs to carry.
Let it flow out.
And away.
In your own time.
Notice the contact your body is making with the surface directly beneath you.
Notice the surface is steady.
Notice the steadiness is there for you now.
And give more of your weight to its support.
As you do so.
Notice the ground meeting your body's weight.
Through the statina.
Steady.
Solid ground.
Sense this steady,
Solid ground spreading way out beneath you to either side.
Into the distance.
And beyond.
One fast steadiness.
Here with you now.
And breathe the steady solid energy of the ground up into you.
Slowly up into your body.
Right up to your mind.
Let it study you.
The ground is somewhere to come back home to.
Crawl yourself back from all the places you lie scattered.
And come back home.
To steady ground.
In this moment.
Drawing yourself back from.
.
.
The future.
The past.
And all ongoing concerns.
Let those attachments go.
And sit back some more.
On the steadiness of ground.
Right there.
Directly beneath you.
And allow yourself to imagine.
That you are a sturdy tree.
Your body.
Being the trunk of the tree.
With deep roots spreading wide.
And the ground beneath you.
Take a few moments to breathe with.
The steadiness of your tree.
Its strength.
And any other positive qualities.
It gives you.
And know that your tree has seen many a winter.
Many a drought.
It's been through many.
.
.
Seasons and cycles.
As winter turns.
To light.
And warm.
You tree.
Opens.
New fresh leaves.
Begins to push out new branches.
And as spring opens into summer.
Your tree carries beautiful canopy of leaves and blossoms.
And so too you have your cycles.
Remember that you're winter.
Will turn to spring.
And open out into summer in time.
That things will get better.
Like your tree.
Maintains its center.
It's guiding us.
So let your center.
Be steady and strong.
As you breathe into your centre now.
Breathing all.
This positive.
From your tree into you.
Like your tree you can endure.
You are growing.
As you grow.
You are learning.
Gathering.
Wisdom.
And healing.
Absorbing all that's positive from your tree into you,
Into your physical body,
Into every level of your being.
In your own time and when you are ready.
Notice the sensation of air entering your nostrils and leaving.
Notice the air is cool as it enters.
Warm as it leaves.
Noticing the touch of the air on your face and body.
And that you're breathing in from the space around you.
And out into it.
Notice the movements your body makes as you breathe.
The expansion of the inbreath.
The release of the out.
Notice the opening outwards and rising upwards motion of the inbreath.
As your shoulders,
Chest and thorax open to receive nourishment.
In this moment.
Notice the softening,
Letting go motion of the out-breath and how the whole of your upper body follows through with that softening.
Letting go motion as the breath flows out.
Notice how the out-breath is the body's natural relax.
On your next out breath,
Say the affirmation.
I let go of everything I no longer need to carry.
Let it flow out of you and away.
In your own time and when you are ready.
Now it is.
How the air touching your face.
Stretches seamlessly outward.
To the farthest horizons.
Way into the distance.
All around you.
Light fall.
And achieve.
Life-giving energy.
All around you now.
Full of positive possibilities.
High to the sky above you.
Notice the spaciousness As you do so,
Allow yourself to imagine.
The light of the universe bathing you.
Sunshine if you like.
Bathing your body.
Dating the whole of you.
As you do so,
Let it radiate through every level of your being.
Bringing light and healing.
To all those places within you in need of light.
In need of healing.
Take as much as you need.
Now allow this beautiful,
Powerful light to surround you in a bubble of protection.
So.

With healing light.
Above you,
Below you,
To either side of you.
In front of you,
Behind you,
All the way.
A beautiful bubble of protection.
To take with you.
Into the coming days and weeks.
Feel it around you now.
As you say the affirmation.

All shall be well.
And all shall be well.
And all manner of things shall be well.
That loving kindness in around you.
All the way around you.
As you do so,
Allow your attitude towards yourself to become kinder,
Warmer.
Breathing the loving kindness in and out on the ebb and flow of your breath.
Breathe the loving kindness into all the places within you in need of kindness.
In need of healing.
Take your time.
Yes,
You do so know that you are strong.
Know that you can endure.
Now that you have value.
Know that you have worth.
Exactly as you are right now.
Appreciate yourself for whatever you wish.
And in your own time when you are ready.
Come back to the sensation of air entering your nostrils and leaving.
And the movements your body makes as you breathe.
Notice the contact your body is making with the surface directly beneath you.
Notice the steadiness still there.
And breathe the steadiness of ground up into you once again.
As you do so.
Sense your tree.
Right there within you.
Steady.
Strong.
To take with you moving forward.
Every step of the way.
Notice the light of the universe.
There within you.
Surrounding every cell of your body.
Tonight the way for you.
Notice your protective bubble of sleep.
Powerful.
Healing light all around you.
This too will be with you.
Through the coming hours,
Days,
Weeks and months.
Allow your own words of reassurance to come.
And in your own time.
Notice your breathing in from the space around you.
And out into it.
Noticing you're here in this moment.
And when you're ready.
