Hello and welcome.
I'm Linda Hall.
Today,
I'd like to do a meditation.
Clear your mind.
Lift your mood.
And to give you a sense of having more inner space.
And more space around you.
So take a few moments to get comfortable.
Reminding yourself that this is space and time for you.
And when you're ready,
Close your eyes.
As you do so come down into the weight and volume of your body.
And the movements your body makes as you breathe.
Breathe out down the full length of your body.
Allowing your body to soften and release what it's brought with it here.
And no longer needs to carry.
Let it flow out in a way.
In your own time.
Become aware of the contact your body's making with the surface directly beneath it.
Notice the surface is steady.
Notice the steadiness.
It's there.
For you now.
And notice the ground meeting your body's weight.
Through the study.
Steady,
Solid ground.
Here we sit down.
Breathe a steady,
Solid energy of ground up into your body.
Up into your mind.
Let it study you.
As you let that happen,
Allow your breath.
To begin to slow down or lengthen.
And notice the sensation of air entering your nostrils and leaving.
Notice the air as cool as it enters.
Warm as it leaves.
Notice the movements your body makes as you breathe.
The expansion of the in.
The release of the out.
Notice the opening outwards and moving upwards.
Of the in-breath.
As your shoulders,
Chest,
And thorax.
Open to receive nourishment.
In this moment.
Here.
And really allow yourself to receive nourishment only in breath.
Welcoming it in.
In your own time.
Notice the softening,
Letting go motion of the out-breath.
And how the whole of your upper body follows through.
With that softening,
Letting go motion.
Nice,
The breath flows out.
Notice how the out-breath is the body's natural relax.
In your own time.
And when you are ready.
Gently become aware of the touch of the air on your face and body.
Let it be thou.
Let everything be sound.
The play of light and shade through your closed eyelids.
Right round your peripheral vision.
And in your own time.
Sense outwardly.
To the horizon spreading way out.
Into the distance.
And beyond.
Notice the spaciousness.
Eye to the sky above you.
You have all of this space.
For you.
In this moment.
If it's felt like.
There hasn't been much space for you.
Of life.
Is around you.
Within you.
You can breathe from the farthest horizon.
See which.
And breathe the spaciousness into you.
Breathe the spaciousness into any parts of you.
That have got closed up.
For love.
Or something else.
Take as much space as you need.
Breathe the spaciousness into the you inside.
Let this part of you expand to be the size it's meant to be.
Allow the whole of the front of your body to breathe in the space.
And spaciousness.
You like.
Free egg.
Every cell in your body based in spaciousness.
As you effortlessly breathe the spaciousness in and out on the ebb and flow of your breath.
Let your mind open.
To receive the spaciousness too.
And allow your mind to take a sky bath.
Let it clear.
And soothe.
You're mine.
As you allow yourself just to be for a while.
Letting sky heal you on every level of your being.
And gently Slowly.
Come back.
To the sensation.
Of air entering and leaving your nostrils.
And the movements your body makes as you breathe.
Notice the air is cool as it enters.
Warm as it be.
Noticing the gentle touch of the air on your face and body.
And the tapestry of the here and now around you.
Take your time.
And notice the contact your body is making with the surface directly beneath it.
Notice the steadiness still there.
And breathe the steadiness of ground up into your body.
Right up to your mind.
Let it study you.
Notice your breathing in from the space around you and out into it.
Notice you here in this moment.
When you're ready.
You can draw this meditation to a close in your own way.
Your own time.
I hope you've enjoyed this meditation.
Go well.
