Allow your eyes to comfortably close.
As you do so.
Breathe out down the full length of your body.
Allowing your body to soften and release what it's brought with it here to this moment.
And no longer needs to carry.
Let it flow out of you.
And away.
Let yourself know that it's completely okay to be exactly as you are right now.
It's completely okay to be exactly who you are right now.
Allow your breath to begin to slow down and lengthen in its own time.
And take your attention down to where your body is making contact with the surface directly beneath you.
Notice the surface is steady.
Notice the steadiness is there.
For you.
Now.
Give more of your weight to its support.
As you do so.
Notice the ground meeting your body's weight.
Steady.
Solid ground.
The ground beneath you is a vast resource.
Always there.
To help your body and mind earth stress.
Rest.
Eel.
And repair.
As you allow yourself to feel the support of the ground directly beneath you.
Your body automatically tunes in with the slow,
Steady vibration of Earth.
And begins to move back towards balance of its own accord.
Breathe with the healing energy of the ground for a while.
Slowly breathing the steady,
Solid energy of ground up into your body.
And into your mind.
Letting it study you.
Reassure yourself you're doing okay.
You're doing well.
You're doing really well.
In your own time and when you are ready.
Become aware of the sensation of air entering your nostrils and leaving.
Notice the air is cool as it enters Worm as it leaves.
Notice the movements your body makes as you breathe.
The expansion of the in-breath the release of the out.
And that you're breathing in from the space around you.
And out into it.
Allow your breath to comfortably slow down some more if you like.
And Let your mind soften and sit back in your head.
As you do so.
Notice the opening outwards and moving upwards of the in-breath.
Notice the softening,
Letting go motion of the earth.
Notice how the whole of your upper body follows through with that softening,
Letting go motion as the breath flows out.
You can help your body to release by sensing all your muscles,
Tissues,
And joints softening and releasing as the breath flows out.
Slowing your breath down and allowing it to lengthen some more.
Taking your nervous system into the relaxation response.
Your body's natural heel.
Restore.
And repair state.
Helping you slow down.
Listen to your body.
And look off to yourself.
To go at a pace that supports your body's healing.
Give your body permission to rest in this moment.
Do not have to do.
To not have to push itself.
Do not have to work hard right now.
Know that your body has been doing its very best for you.
Hold your body with an attitude of compassion.
Really give your body permission to rest.
Um Give your mind permission to rest in this moment.
Do not have to do.
Do not have to work hard right now.
Know that your mind has been doing its very best for you.
Hold your mind with an attitude of compassion.
Really give your mind permission to rest.
In your own time.
Give the you inside.
The part of you that's been in the driver's seat of your body and your mind.
Permission to rest in this moment.
Do not have to push it so.
Or be anything it's not.
Know that this part of you has been doing its very best to.
Hold yourself with an attitude of compassion.
Really give yourself permission to rest.
As you rest Notice the air gently touching your face.
Notice it asks nothing from you.
Demands nothing of you.
It just is.
And allow yourself to soften into the just is-ness of the moment.
Breathing out all demands you've been making of yourself.
Breathing out all pressure you've been putting on yourself.
Breathing out all self-criticism.
Let it all flow out of you and away.
Allow your attitude towards yourself to become kinder.
Warm up.
Let loving-kindness in around you.
All the way around you.
Like a nest of loving kindness.
Breathe the loving-kindness in and out on the ebb and flow of your breath.
Breathe the loving-kindness into all the places within you in need of kindness.
In need of healing.
In your own time,
And when you are ready.
Come back to the sensation of air entering your nostrils.
And the movements your body makes as you breathe.
Notice the contact your body is making with the surface directly beneath you.
Notice the steadiness of ground.
Still there.
Meeting your body's way.
And slowly breathe the steadiness up into you once again.
To take into the coming hours to help your body and mind rest.
Yell.
And restore at their own pace.
Allow your own words of reassurance.
Or an insight to come if they wish.
Notice that you're breathing in from the space around you and out into it.
Notice you're here in this moment and in your own way,
Your own time,
You can draw this meditation to a close.
