Today's meditation will help you prepare and motivate you for the day ahead,
Using a combination of practices,
Including mindfulness,
Grounding,
Gratitude,
Affirmations,
And loving-kindness.
Allow your eyes to comfortably close and become aware of the surface directly beneath your body.
As you do so,
Surrender your weight to its support.
Breathe out down the full length of your body,
Allowing it to soften and release what it's bought with it here and no longer needs to carry.
Breathe out the night that's passed.
Breathe out the past few days.
Let it all flow out and away.
In your own time,
Notice the support beneath you is steady.
Sit back onto the steadiness.
Stay here a while.
Breathe with the steadiness.
Allow yourself to become one with the steadiness.
As you do so,
Sense the steady,
Solid support of the ground meeting your body's weight through the surface beneath you.
Balancing,
Strengthening,
Empowering.
There for you.
Draw the power of the earth up into your body on your breath.
Breathe in the energy of its rich resources.
Minerals.
Crystals.
Rock.
Water.
Allowing it to energize and recharge every part of you.
Feel its powerful energy within you now.
Filling your body.
Filling your mind.
Breathe it deep.
Right into a cellular level.
Every cell in your body re-energized.
Recharged.
Strengthened for the day ahead.
In your own time,
Become aware of the movements your body makes as you breathe.
Notice the expansion of the in-breath as your shoulders,
Chest,
And thorax open to receive the new day.
Notice the release of the out-breath.
Allow your breath to slow and lengthen in its own time.
Become aware of the sensations as air enters your nostrils.
Fills them.
And leaves.
Notice the air is cool as it enters.
Warm as it leaves.
Notice your breathing in from the space around you and out into it.
In this moment here,
This new morning,
Savour the in-breath like a refreshing drink.
Welcome the new day.
Breathe in the energy of its positive possibilities.
All the opportunities it presents for you to be the best you can.
To shine in your own special individual,
Unique way.
Sense out to the natural world around you as it celebrates the new day.
New beginnings.
A fresh start.
Light.
Birdsong.
All of nature alive in this moment.
Breathe its uplifting,
Renewing energy into you.
Take it deep.
Right into a cellular level.
Every cell bathed in exquisite energy.
Let it fill you up from top to toe.
To take with you into the coming day.
Know that you are just as special.
Just as beautiful.
Just as strong as all the beauty you see in nature around you.
And that you too are capable of great things.
Allow your heart energy to open to loving kindness.
Let the loving kindness radiate its light across your chest.
And through the whole of your body.
Allow it to spread outwards into the space around you.
Surrounding you in its warm glow.
Breathe the energy of loving kindness in and out on your breath.
Let it flow to places within you in need of kindness.
Reassurance.
Confidence.
Healing.
Know that loving kindness will be there with you.
There for you throughout your coming day.
To sustain,
Nourish,
And protect you in all that you do.
In your own time.
Notice the sensation of the air making contact with your face and body.
Let it be there.
Hence it's spreading seamlessly out to the farthest horizons all the way around you.
Sit back on the steadiness directly beneath your body.
And give thanks for the new day.
Give thanks for this moment.
Give thanks for all that is good in your life.
Give thanks for anything else that comes to mind.
Affirm yourself.
And send a positive invocation out to the universe for your day ahead.
When you are ready,
Come back to the ebb and flow of your breath.
The sensation of air entering and leaving your nostril.
The movements your body makes as you breathe.
Notice your body making contact with the surface directly beneath it.
When you are ready,
You can draw this meditation to a close and move forward into your day with all the resources you need within you.
