Mindfulness enhances and supports the overall running experience. This meditation - 'One With Everything' is designed for a medium length run of 20 min or so. It connects you to your surroundings as you focus on the steady rhythm of your breath and your body's movements. The main practices include mindfulness, breath awareness and grounding. The beautiful music is by Christopher Lloyd Clarke.

Come away from your thoughts.

And come down into the movement of your body.

Into the movement of your breath.

Notice your body's rhythm.

The pace of your stride.

The swing of your arms and shoulders.

The in and out of your breath.

Feel the sensation of air entering and leaving you.

Open your senses.

Explore the space around you.

See the light and shade.

Notice the shape of things.

Large and small.

Near and far.

See the colors.

Examine the textures.

Hear the sounds.

Close by.

And in the distance.

Notice you are moving through this space.

And you are part of this space.

One with this space.

The ground beneath you.

The sky above you.

Horizons stretching all around you.

Notice the spaciousness of sky.

Let the spaciousness in.

Breathe it in.

Receive spaciousness.

Feel spaciousness in you.

Allow it to open your body.

Open your mind.

Take as much as you need.

Enjoy being spacious.

Notice the steady ground beneath your body.

Here for you now.

A vast resource of power.

The ground meeting each stride.

Pushing it back up and on to the next.

Giving your legs strength and lightness.

Take the power from the ground up into your body.

Take it with you.

Steady.

Empowering earth energy flowing through your entire body.

Take the power of the ground up into your mind.

Breathe it right up into your mind.

Bringing you into the now.

Helping you focus.

Feel the power of earth energy in every part of you.

Every cell of your body.

Breathe this strengthening,

Renewing energy into the you inside.

Take as much as you need.

Empower yourself.

Restore yourself.

Allow the you inside to expand as you run.

Ground beneath you.

Sky above.

Horizon stretching out ahead and either side of you.

One with your surroundings.

One with this moment.

Breathing life force energy in and out.

You are one with the vastness of the universe.

One with everything.

Breathe in the power of the cosmos.

Breathe it into your chest and shoulders.

Feel it in your arms and legs.

Feel it flowing through every part of you.

The cosmos within you.

Give thanks for all that is good in your life.

Allow yourself to be surrounded with the energy of all that is good and positive in your life.

Enjoy its energy.

And say the words.
