Lilian is a licensed therapist and trauma-informed meditation teacher specializing in complex trauma and inner child healing. With 10 years of clinical experience and 15 years teaching, she creates guided practices and educational talks that help listeners gently reconnect with their inner parts, calm the nervous system, and build self-compassion. Lilian wants to share with you what it feels like to slow down and show up for yourself. What happens inside you matters. It makes sense when you turn inward, acknowledge it with respect, and work with it. Through Lilian's talks and meditations, you can find your wounded parts, come to understand why they are there and what past experiences they hold. You can tend to them. Finally someone is there to listen and truly see them. That someone is You. And when you take care of your wounds, you free other parts—the ones that have tried to protect you through numbing, self-harm, addiction, rage, people-pleasing, perfectionism. Even the part that shames you may no longer need to do so, if your most hidden wound is found and helped. This inner work is available to you, as you are, right now.

Loss leads to the darkest of one’s life and has the capacity to lead to the lightest as well. Found kindness, a sense of sage wisdom and generosity in this suggested therapy, thank you. When haven’t properly grieved, this is an excellent place to begin to address your unpacking of your thoughts, emotions and feelings. Thank you.

Thank you for articulating this so well. I was my Mom's care giver and she is finally at peace and I am currently finding out where life goes now and this very well describes the duality of living through grief. Life continues on no matter what we go through individually, which is also something to remember through grieving. Take your time, make mistakes without fear, be messy or sad or confused. The world will turn continuously while you heal in whatever ways you need to heal. Let your night show you where your healing is taking place, everything else will continue.

Absolutely magnificent! Can you make one like this for high school students? As a school counselor I sometimes support my students with their first experience with grief and loss of a loved one… sacred space to be broken open 🙏🏽💔❤️‍🩹💝

Lilian, I found this so incredibly helpful. I find you to be very “real.” I appreciate the reminder to trust grief and the message that it’s okay if I’m far away or don’t fit in with “normal” right now. Even as a therapist myself, all of this felt like a balm to me. More than any new information, what helps me is the deeply attuned relational, which is what you provided here. Thank you.
