Good morning and welcome to this meditation to energize you for the day ahead.
Finding your seat,
Make the adjustments needed to sit in stillness,
Elongate from the base of the spine all the way to the base of the head.
Gently tuck your chin,
Allowing for the breath to move in and out with ease.
Allow your breath to deepen and your eyes to gently close.
Inhale and exhale through your nose.
Inhaling,
Draw the breath to the areas of the body connected with the seat,
Bed or floor.
And with each inhale,
Allow yourself to drop deep into these connections.
Inhaling,
Feel the sounds around you,
Allowing them to fill your body.
Exhale and let the noise fall away.
Inhale the sounds within you,
The heartbeat,
The breath.
Notice what is here as you exhale.
Exhale,
Let go,
Softening the breath,
Find your natural rhythm.
Gently in and out.
Visualize a beautiful orb of gold and yellow sunlight just above your head.
An orb filled with the energy of the sun,
Radiant and warm.
In a moment you'll accept this offering from the sun to fill your body with its warm golden light of energy and clarity to take into your day.
Inhale,
Exhale,
Allow the glowing warm yellow light to melt over your head,
Softening your jaw,
Softening your neck,
Down over your shoulders,
The warm golden light melting into your arms as you inhale and exhale into your wrists,
Your hands and your fingers,
Filling the chest,
Stomach,
Back,
Pelvis,
Bottom.
The energized yellow light fills the thighs,
The knees,
The legs,
Down into the ankle,
Feet and toes.
Sit now for a moment with the warming golden energy and clarity filling your body.
Inhale and exhale,
Connecting with the energy of the golden light,
Feeling into where you sit,
Noticing the temperature of the air,
The scents and smells around you,
The sounds within you and the sounds around you.
Giving your body a gentle stretch as you come out of this meditation and in your own time,
Opening your eyes and taking in the room around you,
Ready for the day ahead.
