Namaste and thank you for joining me.
In this Yoga Nidra practice,
We will be exploring the Anandamaya Kosha,
The Bliss Sheet.
This deepest layer of our being is not about creating happiness or chasing extraordinary experiences.
Instead,
It invites us to rediscover the quiet peace,
Wholeness and contentment that have always been present beneath the changing experiences of life.
During this practice,
We will gently move beyond effort and simply rest in the stillness of our true nature.
So let's get ready for Yoga Nidra.
Preferably lie down in shavasana with your back on the floor or your yoga mat or any surface that you will be resting on.
In Shavasana the body should be straight from head to toe.
The legs slightly apart and the arms a little away from the body with the palms of the hands facing upward.
You can also do the yoga nidra practice sitting down.
Make sure your back is upright,
Your head is well supported and you can put your hands on your knees with your palms facing upward.
If you need to adjust anything,
Your body,
Your clothes,
Your position,
Do that now.
So that you're completely comfortable.
Take a deep breath.
And as you breathe out,
Feel the cares and worries of the day flow out of you.
And close the eyes.
And keep them closed until I tell you to open them at the end of the practice.
And start to bring about a feeling of inner relaxation in the whole body.
Concentrate on the body.
And become aware of the importance of complete stillness.
Become aware of your body from the top of your head to the tips of your toes.
And mentally repeat the mantra.
OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Complete Stillness.
And complete awareness of the whole body.
One more time.
Aum.
Continue your awareness of the whole body.
The whole body.
Become aware that you are going to practice Yoga Nidra.
Say mentally to yourself,
I am aware.
I am going to practice Yoga Nidra.
The practice of Yoga Nidra now begins.
This is the time to state your resolve,
Your sankalpa,
Your intention.

Feeling and emphasis.
Repeat your Dissolve,

The resolve you make during Yoga Nidra is bound to come true in your life.
We now begin the rotation of consciousness.
As quickly as possible we will move awareness from part to part of the body.
As I name the part,
Repeat the part in your mind and simultaneously become aware of that part of the body.

Become aware of your body and the surface that it is resting on.
See a body lying perfectly still on the surface that it is resting on.
See this image in your mind.
Now become aware of your breath.
Feel the flow of breath in and out of your lungs.
Don't change the rhythm.
The breathing is natural.
The breathing is automatic.
There is no effort.
It simply happens.
Maintain awareness of your breath.
Complete awareness of your breath.
Now concentrate on your awareness on the movement in your navel area.
With every breath,
The navel is rising and falling slightly.
With each and every breath it expands and contracts.
Concentrate on this.
Now shift your attention to your chest.
Your chest is rising and falling slightly with each and every breath.
Become aware of this.
And now move your awareness to your throat.
Become aware of your breath moving in and out of your throat.
And now the nostrils.
Become aware of the breath moving in and out of the nostrils.
And now begin to move your awareness inward.
From the physical body,
The sheath of form.
Past the breath and energy,
The sheath of life.
Through the mind.
The Sheath of Thought and beyond wisdom.
The Sheet of Insight You are entering the Anandamaya Kosha.
The field of bliss.
The quiet radiance that shines beneath all change.
And imagine yourself standing before a washed lake of golden light.
The surface is perfectly still.
The air is warm,
Gentle,
Seek the truth.
As you gaze upon the lake.
You see the pills of light moving softly.
Like that.
Made visible.
You step closer.
You realize the lake is not separate from you.
It is your own consciousness.
Luminous.
Infinite.
Calm.
Now with your next inhale.
Imagine stepping into the lake.
The golden light surrounds you.
Cradles you.
Fills you.
Eats bread.
Draws the light deeper within.
Into your chest.
Into your hands.
Into your heart.
Into your cells.
You are floating now.
Weightless in life.
The boundary between body and space dissolves.
You are not in the light.
You are the light.
Let the bread be soft.
Not to them.
With every inhale you expand into radiant stillness.
With every exhale you melt into peace.
There is no effort here.
There is no striving here.
Just being.
Open.
Washed.
Complete.
Perhaps a feeling of gentle warmth rises in your heart.
Perhaps a quiet smile forms without reason.
This is Ananda.
Joy without object.
Peace without cause.
Love without end.
Now rest in pure awareness.
If thoughts arise.
Let them drift like petals across still water.
If emotions stirs.
Let it pass through the field of light.
All is welcome.
All dissolves.
Notice,
Even as breath flows.
Even as sensations come and go.
There is something beneath.
Unchanging.
Steady.
Luminous.
That presence is your true nature.
That presence is bliss.
Gently whisper within.
I am light.
I am peace.
I am bliss itself.
Let the words fade into silence.
Only the feeling remains.
A soft glow at the center of your being.
Now is the time to repeat your resolve,
Your sankalpa,
Your intention.
Repeat the same one that you made at the beginning of the practice.
Do not change it.
Repeated three times.
With full awareness and feeling.
And relax all efforts.
Draw your mind outside.
Become aware of your breathing.
Become aware of your natural breath.
Become aware of the whole body.
Your body lying totally relaxed.
You are breathing quietly and slowly.
Become aware of your body from the top of your head to the tips of your toes.
And say mentally in your mind.
OHHHHHHHHHHHHH The beat.
Aum.
You One more time.
Aum.
Become aware of the surface that you are resting on.
Visualize the area around you.
Become aware of your surroundings.
Start moving your body.
Stretch yourself.
Take your time.
There is no hurry.
And when you are sure that you are wide awake.
Sit up slowly and open your eyes.
The practice of Yoga Nidra is now complete.
Adiom tadsat.
As this practice comes to an end.
Take a moment to notice how you feel.
There is nothing to achieve and nothing to hold on to.
Simply allow the experience to settle naturally within you.
Each time you return to Yoga Nidra,
You cultivate a deeper relationship with yourself.
One layer at a time,
One breath at a time.
Carry this sense of awareness gently into the rest of your day,
Trusting that the wisdom you've touched here will continue to unfold in its own time.
Namaste.
